Following the Sith Empire’s Dominion of Mon Cala, when Coren Starchaser and other allied parties helped rescue a number of Mon Calamari families and starships, and lead them to the Outer Rim, one such family was that of late Supreme Commander Nemo Ven of the Galactic Alliance of Sullust. The family vowed to help Starchaser, the Jedi, and the effort to stop the darkness however they could. The Oasis started life as a passenger liner for the Mon Calamari but was retrofitted at the collapse of the First Galactic Alliance for a vessel of war. Following Coren’s removal from the rank of Grandmaster of the Order of the Silver Jedi, the vessel became a ship open to Jedi wandering the galaxy.
