Weapon Description
Description: The MC-76 is of course an abbreviation for the Mandalorian Crusader 7.62 Rail Gun System, a weapon that is capable of mass destruction on the battlefield due to its quality construction and deadly magnetically accelerated rounds. It's a beast of a weapon and takes some of the more skilled operators in the galaxy such as the Crusaders to effectively operate them.

How it's built. It's a very standard rail gun in how it's built, there's nothing flashy about it. It uses magnetic accelerators located in the barrel to propel its ammunition forward into the enemy, it's magazine uses caseless rounds due to it not needing a firing pin so this provides space for additional ammunition within your traditional magazine clip rather than using a drum or box to save weight.

Power. With the power of a 7.62 behind it this rail gun will spit heavy automatic fire on a target that can turn Durasteel into a mess of scrap metal. It hits hard and it has a very high rate of fire if put at a cyclic rate. And even when it comes to more rare metal armors if the projectile fails to pierce said armor the Kinetic impact alone can cause internal bleeding, hemorrhaging, and broken bones that can lead to death if left untreated, and while it's not an immediate kill this can hurt someone. And with an added bipod the rail gun will be an accurate weapon for you no matter what circumstance you find yourself in. It's durable, waterproof, and will perform in whatever environment effectively.

Drawbacks. The weapon is a magnetic accelerator so obviously ion weapons, EMPs, and high intensity magnetic fields will mess with the rifle and disable the weapon. Furthermore as for its performance, while the weapon can be drained of its rounds rather quickly if it's set to fully automatic it will run through a magazine within a few seconds, steady bursts are recommended. But it's last flaw is that it's a bit heavy and bulky, and while this isn't a problem for a pumped up mando who loves the thrill of working out twenty times a day, for most people this weapon can get a bit heavy over prolonged use without a three point sling, not to mention it can be challenging clearing buildings with it. But its biggest weakness has to be the amount of recoil the weapon gives, it can be fired on the move but will be terribly inaccurate when moving, if you are going to use it while on the move limit to a slow burst at a slow and steady walk, otherwise for the best results remain in one spot to provide suppressing fire. Tracer fire can be tracked back , and the loud chattering noise it makes when fired can be heard. So if you're going to a fight with this weapon it's going to be loud.

Summary. It's a big gun for killing things and suppressing the enemy, it will do plenty of damage but has plenty of weaknesses to go along with it. If you're a skilled operator looking to mix things up from traditional blasters than this is a weapon for you.

This arguably goes into the hit-calling area. I'd probably use the word "can" for these sentences.

If I understand the concept of this weapon correctly, it has a high rate of fire with a high amount of damage per individual shot. While not entirely undoable, this will probably need a weakness to compensate for these strengths (most weapons usually only have one or the other, unless they're static emplacement weapons). Otherwise, I recommend picking one or the other.
