- Force Augmentation: When the Moon Stone is worn on the neck as a necklace, the crystal can make it to where Force Push would be able to smash through a vault door, to where Force Lightning could fry a dozen battle droids, to where Pyrokinesis could set an entire forest on fire, and similar. The weaker the individual at the Force, the more powerful the Force powers they use becomes.
- Ain’t he swole: The other enhancement the Moon Stone provides to the user is aimed to enhance their physical abilities so they can hold their own. What it does is boost their physical attributes via Force Body, allowing them to juggle some armored vehicles as if they were rubber balls.
- Stored Reserves: The Crystal has stored reserves of Force Energy inside it, that if someone was aware of them, they could tap into in order to power Force Abilities.
Kamememeha: By tapping into the internal reserves of the Crystal, and projecting them outward the Crystal when held in the palm of the hand and pointed at an opponent can unleash a blast that could either stun, or cause severe bodily harm.
- Force Nullification can destroy this crystal. It would not just negate the effects, but annihilate the crystal. This is why steering clear of Void Stone, Ylasmari, and any other form of Force Nullification is a very wise idea.
- Force Sever: Should someone use Force Severance when the crystal is being utilized, it would put the user on life support.
- Want it, need it: The Moon Stone has a sort of “Want it need it” effect on it, making people more prone to fighting over the crystal. Only the strongest wills can ignore that effect of the crystal. It also amplifies the greed of the wearer.
- The Crystal only works during the night, for any of it’s abilities.
- Corruptive effects on user: It can cause the user's mindset to be warped, slowly turning them evil unless they have a strong willpower.
- Addictive: The power the crystal provides is addictive, making people crave the use of it more and more, until they can't stand being without the power it provides them.
- Bone Breaking: Should their body be ill suited for the physical enhancements of the crystal, they run the risk of breaking their bones, if not blowing up limbs by the sudden channeling of the power the Crystal provides.
- Exhaustion: Removing the crystal can cause them to pass out. Sometimes it might put them into a coma.
- Strain: Using strength enhancement can put a massive straIn on their body. This could kill them if they use 100% of it. At best, an untrained body could handle 5%. A trained body could handle up to 20%.
- No Concealment: There is no concealment when one is wearing this. They can’t use powers that conceal themselves with the Force in the slightest.
- Drains User: The Moon Stone drains the user’s energy at a rapid rate in order to power the Force Body that is used on them.
- Can’t be used when injured: Should they have severe injuries, they can’t use it’s physical enhancements.
- Relative Boost: The more powerful the person is physically and force wise, the less of a boost the crystal will give them.
- Burning: Should someone try to use this during the day, they would be roasted literally by the crystal, it would be using the Force to cause them to spontaneously combust, as a defensive mechanism put into it.
- Force Light: As the Crystal was made using the Dark Side of the Force, it has a very specific vulnerability that anyone could exploit. Even the most minute use of Force Light would be powerful enough to obliterate the crystal, making it disadvantageous to utilize when fighting a Jedi of any rank, or those who can do cleansing effects with the Force.
- No Shock Absorption: The Crystal does not provide the user any protection for when they punch or kick using the strength enhancements the Crystal provides. As such, they can do real and lasting permanent harm to their body, should they use it when untrained.
- Deprivation: Deprivation of the Crystal can make them slow, and lethargic. It will also make them unmotivated to do pretty much anything. For a time, it would weaken the powers of the Force they can utilize, until they build their strength back up. It also causes them to burn more energy in order to do even the most minute tasks.
- Rampages: Another failsafe in the Crystal is that, should they utilize the crystal to go on rampages and destroy entire civilizations, the crystal will explode, and kill them.
- Requires Speech: Using any of the features of the Moon Stone requires the ability to speak. To activate "Ain't He Swole" One must say "Muscle Form, and then the percentage they believe they can handle. To activate the blast, they must say. "Beam Mode." And then so on, and so forth.
- Snatch the Crystal: The Crystal has no safe guards against someone stealing it, and using it against the current user. This makes it a double edged sword in that regard.
"To the one who discovers this, I leave great power." - The Maker of the Moon Stone when he wrote a journal detailing what it was capable of allowing the wielder to do. When he made the Moon Stone he made it in order to be a way for Jedi and Sith to be evenly matched, or so people assumed. In reality, it was made for his son who was weak in the Force to have the means to stand against Jedi or Sith alike. This crystal was made to massively amplify the Force Abilities of the Wielder - making them a lot more effective than they normally would be. Over the centuries it was not used, countless Force Users enhanced it, adding other features to the Crystal so that it could be utilized as a weapon.The Crystal has been collecting energy for 30 generations of Jedi / Sith.
The crystal works in the case of Force Body, pumping massive amounts of Force Energy into the muscles, in order to make them brim with power so as to increase their durability, and raw power that they can utilize. In terms of Alter Environment, should they know how to utilize said power, this would pump some of it’s power into their use of the power, allowing them to use it at a stronger level than what they could normally. For Force Blast, it would simply allow them to project some of the reserves of energy it has outward as a destructive beam.
