- The most advanced feature of the Mistryl Shadow Guard Covert Armor is the sonic nullifiers. Meant to give operatives in disguise a good chance against sonic weaponry, the addition of modified sonic nullifiers gives them a slight edge against the use of such weapons.
- The layers of synthmesh provide some protection against chemical attacks and act as a rudimentary stop gap for gas based weapons if used as a mouth cover.
+ Energy - A surprisingly high resistance to energy weapons is gained through the use of mixed materials granting highly efficient protection to the wearer through the use of layers to disrupt attacks from energy based weapons.
+ Kinetic - A surpisingly high resistance to stabbing style kinetic weapons is gained through the use of mixed materials grants highly efficient protection to the wearer through the use of layers.
+ Weather - A noted resistance of the ensemble through the use of an enviroweave blend is that of environmental dangers such as hot or cold and allow the wearer to remain relatively comfortable.
WEAKNESSES
- Bludgeoning/Blunt - While it offers great stabbing protection, this is still clothing and has little to offer in the form of protection from blunt kinetic weaponry. The force behind a kinetic attack will still be transferred through the clothing in question.
- Lightsabers - While able to resist a glancing blow at best, the materials offer little resistance to these exotic weapons and are readily defeated by it.
- EMP/ION - With no resistances to offer, this form of attack is highly successful at countering this armor and destroying any form of technology susceptible to it inside their pockets or on their persons.
DESCRIPTION
A simple design for covert operations suit was sought out and found in this. It requires no fancy bells and whistles as the Mistryl Shadow Group puts more stock in their trained abilities than cheap tricks and gimmicks. The focus of the covert armor was to provide the group with a simple but flexible suit that allowed them to blend in with civilians without drawing too much attention through the use of high-fashion or exotic materials. The relative bulk of this design allows the wearer to use the general purpose under-armor with ease without revealing the presence of the under-armor unless seen through the clothing or someone is told of it's existance.
