SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Proper Camouflage in any environment
  • High protective rating against most threats.
  • Offers some protection versus lightsabers
WEAKNESSES
  • Full body armor's bulk inhibits wearer's ability to sprint. A jog is the best that can be achieved.
  • Low Protection against Flame/Heat and Cryo weapons
  • Damage to the armor causes the color-changing function to glitch out around the injury.
DESCRIPTION
Vianca Mecetti commissioned these camouflaged armor suits from Tampson Consolidated to equip the Mecrosa Order's Upsilon Assault Teams. They represent one of the most premium armor types made by Tampson, providing the Upsilon Teams with the best protection money can buy, while also giving them visibility, mobility, and low observability. The suits' only weaknesses are flame or cryo weapons, as the suit's particular phrik alloy conducts heat. Although this heat will not destroy the armor, the thermal energy is quickly distributed throughout the suit. It can quickly reach sufficient temperatures within the suit to cook the trooper within. Similarly, the suit's thermal conductivity can lead it to bleed heat in extreme cold, as with cryogenic weapons. Routine heat or cold, such as in a desert or arctic environment, is not a concern.

While the Phrik-alloyed armor is not immune to lightsabers, it can slow the advance of a lightsaber blade enough so that quick cuts and thrusts may not reach the occupant. This forces an attacker to deliver a weighty slash or committed thrust if they hope to penetrate fully before the operator can separate themselves from the offending weapon.

While this camouflaged armor does not make a wearer impossible to see, it makes them much harder to detect because the suit is constantly changing its color to match its background from all angles. A discerning eye can make out the form of someone wearing the suit. Of course, sensors can pick up the individual. Phrik alloy provides excellent energy resistance, including against light-sabers. Sensors and communications are top-notch. Any operative in Upsilon armor is at the bleeding edge of capability. By avoiding projected stealth fields like holograms and similar devices, the suit keeps from having a huge electromagnetic signature which might actually draw more than normal amounts of attention on portable scanners. The gumshoes provide additional mobility, allowing the scaling of sheer surfaces or even moving upside down on ceilings.

Due to being related to Stealth based technology, this submission will be required to have a production of Semi-unique.

Also, please link the source of the image within the submission.
Thank you for this review.

I have to ask if there is any level of low-observability accessible without a Semi-Unique rating.

What if it was camouflage?

Due to the usage of Photo-reactive Coating, which states it turns the user near invisible, thus it is considered Stealth Technology.

If you wish to keep it at the production you have, then you will need to remove any usable stealth technology that is related to Photo-reactive coating.

Photoreactive Fiber changes the color of the armor to be Camouflaged, and as the Photoreactive fiber is not listed as "Stealth Technology." would still work for your submission. So yes, the camo aspect would be allowed, however the near invisibility of the coating would need to be removed.

Thank you for this review,

I have removed the coating, and changed all references of stealth to simple camouflage.

Cheers!
