Hello.
As the writer of Rashae, i am an old school rper that loves in depth stories.
Rashae Lovous is a Medical Doctor and Research scientist. Rather talented one.
She should be at a top notch Hospital or Research facility. She should be reveling and enjoying the spoils of being such. This Doctor isnt. She is black listed due to a series of events that will make a rather interesting story.
The woman was part of a very classified project with a private corporation that was working with transgenics. Transgenics are basically growing medicines and vaccines in food. it genetically changes a crop to not only produce food but produce crucial ingredients for making medicines in bulk. It can be used the other way and change food to do a great many horrendous things. Some readily seen, some very subtle and unseen.
One of these things is producing mind altering substances that make the mind susceptible to suggestion. Along the same lines as the stepford wives scenario only in a large scale. The compound is not detectable in food. It doesnt change the food's taste or texture. Once they are in this suggestive state, any sort of propaganda or suggestion could be placed and an organization can take over a section of a city to even a whole city and eventually a whole planet with little effort or conflict.
There is an anti-serum. Rashae was on the compound project and anti-serum project. While working on the anti-serum, which works basicaly like an antidote to unblock the usual recepters that identify suggestion (basically turns the BS meter back on). During the process of creating this Serum she fell in love. This person swept her off her feet. (dont have a name for this guy yet) They had barely completed the anti-serum alpha trials when he used her credentials to steal the formula for the anti-serum. The main doctor working on it, her mentor, came up missing and she was blamed for the entire thing. The formula was wiped from their system.
She was charged with corporate espionage. She was in private prison for a year in solitary confinement suffering mind probes as they think she knows where the formula is and responsible. Since they couldnt prove that, a trial was never set and they had to let her go.
To this day they still dog her heels waiting for her to reveal the location of this anti-serum formula. She cant get a job with anyone or any place of substance (no offense). Her family has disowned her. She had to swallow her pride to take on the job of being the medic for the Lady Liberty.
if that compound gets released, the ease at which systems could be conquered would be devastating.
If the republic has such a need, they will acquire a brilliant doctor and research scientist. They will have to at some point deal with this threat.
