Meeting a new padawan

Quinn had been told by her master that she was to meet a new padawan on the desert planet of Tatooine. This was a first for her she had never been told to meet a padawan or anyone for that matter. As the Time Bandit shoots towards the desert planet she wonders what this person will be like. She lands down right near where the padawan would be

The world was hot... and dry and she was getting sand everywhere while moving in the desert. Ikari was at least glad the bulk of her clothing was open and able to breathe while she was moving with some purpose. The padawan she had been sent by her mother to meet was Nico's and her family was complicated compared to some. Where Nico had gone dark... Ikari had prospored with the shadowguards and her mother. Now she was moving with intent over a dune before standing there with the single saber gauntlet on her wrist before she made out the form of the padawan and smirked to herself.

As Quinn looked out over the dunes of Tatooine she is thankful that she is only wearing a crop top and jeans. When the padawan comes over the dune she smiles and runs over to her. "Hey."

Looking at her as she raised an eyebrow looking at the other padawan. There was a look and a few thoughts before she was running with some of her attention on the things in the desert. Seeing some bones they could work with and walk across the sands. "So what would you like to do?" She was still new to this whole jedi thing but she could find plenty fo things while she rolled her bare shoulders feeling the heat on her skin.

"Well first things first." She leads the other padawan on board the Time Bandit "I'm Quinn and you are?"

Looking at the girl while she was moving Ikari thought about being clever and saying something cool but she wasn't really that cool or clever or deceptive for making things on the fly before the words came out of her mouth. "I am Ikari." A smile on her face though as she crossed her arms and offered a look over some of the sands and then the ship. "Nice ship."

"Thank you so now if you wanna make yourself comfortable I must set the course." She says walking to the cockpit

Ikari looked at her and the small padawan took a moment to sit down as she was adjusting her bracer before she slid the zenji needle into a small clip watching the other go to set the course for a moment while her grin came. "So where do you plan to take me and what are we going to go and do?"

"First stop is Coruscant. There we will be trying to get information on a new droid army. But for now what do you wanna do?" She asked the padawan who was about 4 inches shorter than herself

She looked at the girl and raised an eyebrow while she jumped up almost and walked over to her. "You want to go to the capital planet of the one sith?" That was dangerous for masters and they were padawans while she was standing there. "That is a dangerous thing and we aren't trained for concealing ourselves from the sith masters let alone the capital of their dark lord."

"Don't worry about it I have it under control."

She was looking at her now more and more wondering what the girl had planned and what she had planned to try and protect them from the things. THis was a dangerous task and they were two short, semi frail padawans before she was putting a hand on her shoulder. "What sort of plan can you tell me so I am not going in blind."

"I have contacts on Coruscant that will get us intel and help us keep our cover." She says as she notes the feelings knowing she is scared.

Looking over her Ikari was nervous but she could stomach it for a bit. "Alright but first sign of trouble we should be running instead of trying to salvage it. Might be able to work and get a few of the old Sasori warehouses opened with its workers. If it goes back on the network it could work out for us."

Quinn knew she was right and before anymore could be said Quinn looked at her and says "Well we have a few days until we reach Coruscant we should probably start trying to blend in but first anyone for painting nails?"

"Painting nails?" She said it with more surprise really but wasn't opposed to having a little fun as she moved back a little. "Well I suppose there are worst things we could be doing. Could have wanted to just sit and meditate the entire time." Or other things, she was really not certain while adjusting her top so the exposed back and sides as she touched her hair.

"What color do you want I pretty much have them all." She says looking at the slightly shorter padawan.

Black like my soul.... No she wasn't going to say that but thinking about it while she looked at her clothing. "Black and gold would work best together." She had the fun of it all though and it could take her mind off some of the things while she was walking around.

"Alright then." Quinn says knowing what Ikari was thinking before "By the way your soul is not black." She says turning around and walking into the bathroom only to return with black and gold nail polish

She looked at the other padawan and found a seat getting up into a position while she wondered what might be happening until she saw the polish with a smile. "Looks nice." She swung her legs up and could fit into the seat but didn't have to worry about things like her feet touching the floor of the ship.
