Prelude
While Aleena herself had not been there to fight during the Battle of Coruscant or its aftermath, she had heard stories about what it was like. Aside from all the death and destruction during the conflict, the Maw had left behind a vast number of Sithspawn into the streets of Coruscant's lower levels. Due to how massive they were, even now cleansing operations were still ongoing. But that's not what brought the blonde to Coruscant — she was no fighter or hero ready to save the people from the murderous beasts that rampaged through their streets.
She was a Jedi Healer.
So when she arrived, the woman was assigned to one of many field hospitals set up to tend to injured civilians as well as other Jedi and soldiers who were wounded in their efforts against the Sithspawn. It was a tiring job, but incredibly rewarding. Aleena often struggled with the idea that her actions were not impactful, but out here she knew she was making a difference.
That was, at least, until her desire to help got the better of her again.
Blondie in trouble.
It all began with strange whispers she heard, echoing to her mind through the Force while she went about her usual routine of checking on all her patients. Perhaps it should have been a warning to her, but the way it felt... people were hurt and needed help. Maybe there were Jedi out there who couldn't make their way back, and they all relied on her to survive? Maybe they had been the ones who called out through the Force?
It didn't matter to the blonde Jedi, who grabbed her medical kit, strapped her lightsaber to her belt, and made her way out of the safety of the field hospital. Stepping past other Jedi, guards, and more injured who were being brought in, Aleena headed into the darkest depths of the underworld.
For about 15 minutes, this went uninterrupted, as she simply followed the whispers she had heard. But after entering a new district, she began to feel as if she was being watched. Yellow eyes stared at her through the dark, and figures were following her around through dark alleyways and over the rooftops. She knew she wasn't alone.
"H-hello?" she asked, her voice trembling from obvious fear.
She hugged her medkit tightly against her chest and gulped, but whatever was watching her felt no reason to halt their plans at the sight of a frightened woman. In fact, it just made her look like easier prey. Finally, the beasts had her surrounded as well, and when Aleena realized it as presences called out to her from each direction, she simply froze. Her blue eyes widened as something jumped out to her and before she truly registered what happened, she was on the ground.
Pain.
She felt a shock go through her leg, another through her hip and something was tugging on her arm. Aleena screamed in pure agony but was there anybody out there who heard her? Let alone anybody who could help?
Her life depended on it.

She'd been hunting them for a while.

Sithspawn were always dangerous. Most were made as only weapons of war with a feral instinct to cause pain and kill. The ones she was hunting? Beasts with intelligence, and a cruel desire to torture. There was nothing more dangerous than a Sithspawn that could think for itself while also having that base desire to cause pain. Some could resist it, try to be something more than what they were made for.

But most didn't fight it.

Her faintly glowing eyes watched in the darkness. She knew they were there. All around. Nesting. Sithspawn with the form of a beast but a clever mind. She was here to clear them out, stop them from ever reaching higher into Coruscant and claiming any more lives then they had. She was about to charge in, her whole form tense and coiled like a spring.

"H-hello?"

A voice made her stop. One of fear. What the hell. In annoyance her gaze shifted. A wanderer? The Sithspawn? No, certainly a wanderer. She could feel how Aleena Aryss's heart pounded in her chest from that rush of adrenaline. Fight or flight. She waited for the woman to pick so she might help. Only, Aleena didn't move. Instead she was attacked. Alina hissed under her breath.

So much for her own ambush.

The Vampiress leapt from the shadows. A fist came down, cracking open the skull of the beast chewing on Aryss's arm in a flash of grey matter and blood. Alina kept close, her fists raised as numerous snarls could be heard around her. How many had been nesting here? Seven.. No, eight. One was near the back. Calm. Her eyes narrowed.

"Can you get up?"

Aleena was in such a state of shock that she didn't even register another person entering the fray. From her position, it just seemed like another beast joined in to help collectively tear her apart. But much to her surprise, the sharp and painful tugging on her arm ceased almost instantly, and the other beasts moved away.
Pupils wide and with incredible pain on her face, she looked up to see Alina standing close to her.
"Can you get up?"
It took a moment before the words were processed in her mind, but the blondie quickly gulped and nodded, before pushing herself up to a sitting position. Her eyes shifted to her arm and horror fell over her. Blood was running down onto the ground, and her dress was completely torn apart. Somehow, seeing the injury made her feel the pain even more.
"W-watch out!" she suddenly exclaimed, as the beasts moved to engage.
Aleena quickly turned her focus down to her arm, and briefly, it seemed as if her deep blue eyes began to glow. The Force was flowing through each part of her body to fluidly come together around the various wounds that limited her. With rapid speed, she watched as they closed — it was a demanding process to heal herself this fast, but she was going to die if she didn't do something.
Then, without any further hesitation, she jumped up to her feet and grabbed the silver hilt of her lightsaber. She had to help her new ally.

Well, Aleena Aryss at least sat up. Didn't really make Alina think the woman could stand, though. With a heavy sigh the Vampiress dug her heels into the ground. If Aryss couldn't run, then the Vampiress would just carry her away. When the moment arose at least. Her glowing eyes scanned their surroundings, taking note of each one of the creatures. Their heart beats rang in her ears.

Then something different. For a moment her guard dropped, her gaze shifting back to the blooded woman behind her. The smell of blood dammed off. How..? Rapid healing? Alina looked confused, conflicted, even as one of the creatures lunged for her throat. Yet in the blink of an eye she spun, bringing her heel up to catch the beast by it's throat and slam it into the ground beside her with a resounding crack.

No time to think, then.

"We can run, or we can fight. Your choice. Don't expect me to save you if we fight though."
