Meeting The Clans [Gil/Ordo]

Admittedly, Kyra had rarely visited Mandalorian space... And never the Capital of Mandalore. But there was a first time for everything, and necessity urged her to comply with the required routes in order to achieve her plans. It was for such a reason that she had set up a meeting with @[member='Gilamar Skirata'] and @[member='Ordo'], to discuss a proposed trade and hyperspace route which would cut across their Space. It seemed a promising proposal, beneficial for all involved while also tightening the chances of foul play from neighbouring powers.

As a neutral and civilian-targeting company Rahvin Industries acted efficiently and without favouritism. All involved would receive the same information and terms so to speak. She only hoped that the Clans of the Mandalorians would approve of the development plan. "I'm here to see the Mand'alor" she asserted to the official waiting upon reaching their point of rendezvous within the City of Keldabe. Now all she had to do was wait.

Ordo walked up to the official and put a hand on his shoulder.
<She's ok, mate.> he said in mando'a as he looked at the young woman from behind the black'T' of his helmet.

" [member="Kyra Sol"]?" He said switching to his Corellian accented basic, "I'm Field Marshall Ar'klim. Mand'alor Skirata is expecting you."

Ordo turned around and led the way to the unofficial planning/war room which was actually just a design office at MandalMotors. A real live flimsi map with color coordinated sections to signify governments had been laid out on a CAD table and a Prototype M1 series astromech sat nearby. Ordo pointed at a small veshok wood chair and walked to the pot of caff. He took off his helmet to reveal his scar riddled visage and turned slightly to the woman.

"Sorry Gil will be here in a minute." He said his voice deep but friendly, "want some caff or shiig?"

Almost as soon as she entered Kyra was met with the Beskar'clad man that was [member="Ordo"] and her head inclined subtly as a mark of respect. "Thank you for seeing me at such short notice" she spoke, oddly soft for once. She thought that it would be best to tread wisely around the Mandalorians, there was still so much about them that she did not fully understand or know.

Following him through the base of operations for MandalMotors she took the time to take in the architecture and get a feel for the man before her. Her gaze slipped to the map upon the table for just a moment - but Galactic Politics did not appeal to her. She kept tabs upon it purely to steer Rahvin Industries away from war and to keep business booming for the general populous however.

Taking the seat which was offered she glanced to the man. "Caff would do" she said, despite the fact that she didn't truly enjoy its taste. But now was not the time to be seeming ungrateful. "And I am in no rush." But man did it feel odd and out of character to be acting this way. She wondered if she could keep it up throughout the entirety of their meeting or not...

"[member="Gilamar Skirata"] seems to be delayed a bit." Ordo said after a long wait, "If you don't mind we can get to business and we can both get ship born."

Ordo walked over and looked at the Maps with his Caff mug in his hand and pointed.

"What can The Mando'ade help you with?" He said taking a drink.

Gilamar Skirata

The most important step is always the next one
"Sorry, Sorry I'm late Ordo, is our guest..." The doors slammed shut behind him. "Right...of course she is." Removing his helmet and clipping it to his belt, the old man met the two with a flat face, more of a permanent scowl that adorned Gilamar's face. "How can we help you Miss Sol?"
@Ordo @Kyra Sol

She took her own mug of caff and sipped at it, the taste wasn't great but nor was it as bad as she imagined. Still, it wouldn't be her drink of choice any time soon. "Very we---" just as she began the Mand'alor entered, and her gaze shot to him as the door slammed behind his body. "Mand'alor Skirata" she greeted, looking between the pair of them. She supposed it was time to explain herself.

Reaching into her pocket she brought out a small holo-projector, similar to the one which had been used at the senate only adjusted to project on a much smaller scale. "I have a proposition to make, and ask that you hear me out. Rahvin Industries seeks to expand the potential of the Galaxy through the creation of a hyperspace lane which would flow from Teth to Bastion. Naturally this would mean it will cut through a few Galactic Powers." Flicking on the projector she allowed it to show the full route before it zoomed in on Mandalorian territory.

"It should not interfere too much with your people, nor will it weaken any of your borders: Rahvin Industries seek to bolster trade and opportunities, not hinder them. We are a civilian-friendly company, and thus seek to minimize the threat of war. No one wishes to look to Luxury Products when they have a war to fight. We will police the lane outside of territories and are willing to do so within too, but would not do so without your permission of course. We also plan on introducing a traffic monitoring system which will alert you if a large number of vessels are using the lane to enter your territory, incase there is the threat of an invasion. As I say, we do not wish for such to happen. It is bad for business."

She had more, such as the request for further trade to be bolstered between Rahvin Industries and the Mandalorians, but she figured this would be enough to begin with. "The proposed route is here, marked by the black route. As you can see it barely cuts through your territory, so it should not effect you quite so much as it would others."

Taking the flask from the leather pouch on his utility belt, Gilamar took a drink as he listened intently to the young woman. He was used to the buisness talk. As the projector activated he nearly spit out his drink. A hyperlane? Thinking back to Jorus his brow furrowed and his eyes narrowed. Trade had been flooding into the Mandalorian sector for a long while now. It was flourishing, a true trade hub in all ways minus its location. Even then however, more and more tourists and salespeople were entering Mandalorian borders and turning a profit, which in turn, turned the Mandalorians a profit.

He shook his head as she spoke about patrols. "We have more than enough ships to patrol a hyper lane." he mused. Looking over to Ordo he shrugged. Why not? A hyperlane brought more trade and unlike the Republic, the Mandalorians thrived in battle and war. Invasions were less than likely to come from their current neighbors at any rate. "MandalMotors would be glad to aid you in your endevour." His eyes flickering over to Ordo for a moment he added, "What about MandalTech Ordo?"

Ordo looked at the hyperlane that was plotted and then took a sip of his Caff. It was a bold venture to be certain but one that promised an increase in trade. He looked to Gil and shrugged.

"I can't see why not, Ner Vod." He said, his deep voice a little loud for the enclosed area, "MandalTech could set up fuelling stations in a few places and give frieghters a stopping place and we patrol the area regularly already. Might as well have a hyperlane."

Ordo nodded and took out a flask of his own to spruce up the caff, put the flask down and sipped his drink again.
