Appearance: An average-sized Hummingphant of primarily golden brown color scheme, Melekki is not without a little color. Said color is primarily seen in tufts of turquoise hair sprouting from his head and tail.

Skills: As expected from any respectable Hummingphant, Melekki has experience with Force Healing and Sense. While he may not have opposable thumbs, he also prides himself on having an impeccable palette for cooking. Fitting, since Nerium is a danger in the kitchen.
Personality: While often presented as perpetually exasperated, Melekki has patience to be admired. His demeanor is often calm, yet cautious. While he often can’t stop shenanigans, he can at least have the sense to direct them down routes that cause mostly manageable chaos. He’s not without his temper, however, something that’s especially evoked when some mistake him for only a pet rather than an entirely sentient creature.
COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapon of Choice: His weapon of choice would be to not need a weapon at all
Combat Function: The protector/support. Melekki’s abilities lie more in protecting his allies from enemies that’d seek to use the force to harm them. Any combative or healing abilities are more saved as a last result. His primary strength is shutting down targeted force attacks meant for individuals within his bubble of innate protection.
Strengths:
Bubble of Protection: Like all Hummingphants, Melekki produces a natural field of protection, marking those within 5 meters of the aura safe from directed force abilities while not cutting them off from using the force themselves.
Ratatouille: An impeccable palette, especially for one without any formal culinary training, Melekki is not only extremely capable of determining individual ingredients of a dish, but also in theorizing what flavor profiles might work best together. While he might need an extra set of hands to actually create dishes, he’s certainly capable of being the brains behind them.
Weaknesses:
Got No Thumbs: While his trunk is a very capable appendage, there are just some things that can’t be done without at least another second appendage. Picking up a small object? No problem. Tearing open a sauce packet? Not gonna happen.
All Talk, No Bite: Melekki’s strengths when things get violent are in support, not taking the fight to a transgressor. He has defensive things, particularly involving the force, down on lock, but physical attacks are still very much a threat.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
While one might equate Melekki and Nerium’s relationship to a pet and their owner, make no mistake, it’s Melekki who’s the pet owner. But it wasn’t always like that. No, once upon a time, Melekki was born and partially raised on his homeworld of Iego. While many would be content to remain there, Melekki wanted to see the world. Or rather pirates made that decision for him.
Yet Melekki wasn’t one to just let a hostage situation become his life. Escaping the pirates first chance he got, the young Hummingphant wandered the developed galaxy, eventually coming across a colorful yet chaotic creature known as Nerium. Since then, the two have been a weird on and off duo, with Nerium getting into all sorts of shenanigans and Melekki just trying to pick up the pieces.
