PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Mellomere is by no means the tallest among her species, still growing into her own in some ways as she navigates the hierarchy of her people. In her human form, she seems a typical human type with a lovely sun kissed complexion and bright eyes framed by equally vibrant hair color. Lithe and slender, her frame is well suited for underwater swimming rather than any kind of land based activities. While shifted in any manner of sea faring form, her skin becomes a sickly grey and her once vibrant coloration is lost as if sun bleached.
While in human form, she does her best to maintain more human features having sampled many examples to fit her vanity. In cases of stress however, this illusion of humanity is easily lost by slight changes she loses focus on such as her nail and teeth that change back to sharp weapons as if preparing to protect herself.
A favorite item of hers that she wears in all forms is a coral headpiece that helps tie up her hair. Often seen in vibrant, flowy clothing that leaves her limbs free with a design made to seem like a jellyfish in how it flows when she moves.
Soft rounded features with a pleasant smile make her seem approachable while her large piercing eyes seem to demand others to hold only her in their gaze.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Her best efforts at maintaining her human side has made her quite sociable which, paired with a mellifluous voice, lends itself to her readily friendly nature. At times, this can make her seem overly friendly however and is still a facet of herself that she is working on. She often seems soft spoken or timid given that her people hold violence in such low regard. Even raising ones voice during impassioned debates lends itself to seeming uncivilized to most within her circle. Often, anyone that is overtly aggressive tends be marked in her mind as a being to be avoided or outright shunned.
One worrying trait is her profound wonder about other peoples lives. Often time distracting herself with the curiosity what exactly is happening in other peoples lives. Which ties in to her overly friendly nature as a means to satisfy this curiosity.
One thing that is also often seen on her is the neckpiece she wears in her human form. Incredibly self aware of the gills on her neck and wanting to blend in better, she often covers them with a breathable fabric. This does tend to cause her to be winded more readily than most.
STRENGTHS
Siren Song - As is naturally adapted for her species, Mellomere is gifted with a talent for singing and speaking. A wide range of emotions not only felt through the rich and deep tones she can produce, but also assisted by the pheromones her people can release. From elation to melancholy and everything between during a song or even through regular speech, her kind can be a danger to the unwitting.
Natural Swimmer - Blessed not only with a form for swimming in water, but also the gills to breath beneath the tide.
WEAKNESSES
Biology - Her own biology works against her when it comes to contaminates and gases. Requiring specialized helmets and suits to avoid her gills from working against her in hazardous situations.
