Memories of a Master of Light

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alderaan, Temple of the Grey

Alexandra drew her hands over the cube in front of her, working to open it as she held the crystal in hand that would be needed for such. This was the Holocron of Nomi Sunrider, an artifact she had found in the weeks before with the help of [member="Alkor Centaris"] and now looked at from across the table with [member="Miss Blonde"]. It was a matter of interest for Alexandra to open the Holocron due to its significance in the teachings of Force Light that she suspected would be recorded on it. Nomi Sunrider had learned from Thon those teachings and applied them when she had faced her own love Qel-Droma.

Alexandra had already taken in hand the crystal that she and her daughter both had held at one time, the crystal known as Sunrider's Destiny which had but one purpose to it, that only the one it was attuned to would be able to use it and she had ensured she was the one that it was attuned to already in the past two weeks before.

"Are you ready? Opening and recording the information within isn't as easy as writing down a shopping list and we need to make sure that we both understand that the guardian will likely inquire about the both of us." She wasn't sure about the woman's connection to the force, it seemed to want to curve towards the light but the grey in it was reminiscent of a heart that hadn't found its true place yet.

It wasn't often that Vesphira found herself doing things to help others. Normally she was a fend for herself kind of woman. Yet this day she found herself seated across the woman known as Alexandra. This particular day brought about many curiosities this one being the opening of a holocron.

Tapping her fingers against the table, she would soon glance up at the woman seated across from her and give a nod of her head signaling that she was ready whenever. When in the task of something Vesphira was a woman of very few words, she was no used to openly conversing with others.

"Let's begin.."

Alexandra nodded as she closed her eyes and her breath and heart began to slow. She wouldn't be able to do this her normal way, considering that the woman across from her was not someone that would be able to handle the strain brought on by Beyond Shadows. So instead she decided that she would need to do this the old fashioned way so to speak and her hands reached out in the force to take ahold of the aura that surrounded the holocron itself. To her this would be a chance to learn about the life of Nomi Sunrider, and more specifically learn about the abilities of Force Sever, Force Light, and the betterment of the abilities she was already familiar with.

IT was a treasure of great importance to her and it was something that she wanted to learn from more than anything else. Like the Holocrons of Thon and Ood Bnar, this was a chance to learn about a period lost in time, a fact that she would be able to actually know what had happened back then from the lips of this Holocron's guardian.

The Guardian, that wsa a spirit she was unsure if it would let her learn from the holocron, she was even unsure if it would let Vesphira touch at the knowledge inside. Bot for the fact of her alignment but for the fact of how long it had been. Thousands of years had passed and now what used to pass for a Jedi or even a force user in general was long different from the times of old. She knew of the legends, of the woman who helped fight Qel-Droma with whom she loved and off the stories of Exar Kun's time. But this would be the first chance to truly learn from the lips of one who had been alive at the time.

Patience was always something She had had. From the youngest she could retain her memories it was one of the main traits that kept her in good graces. The second trait she had was the loving knowledge. Anything that could teach her something knew was sought after with a voraciousness that rivaled many another.

It was this desire to learn something new that had brought the woman to where she sat today. Calm and collected, she would wait, eager to see if the guardian would grant her the ability to learn what Alexandra so desperately sought out. Closing her eyes, she would allow herself to relax. If she knew anything she knew that this would be a timely venture and thus did she settle down and make herself comfortable. Her posture relaxing into that of a calmed state.

She knew why she came, she was curious to learn from one that had been around so long ago. Even if she wasn't granted the knowledge it would still be a new experience for her and that right there was the reason she had agreed to come after all.

Alexandra let out her breath once more before feeling the crystal lifting from her hand, the tip of it sliding into place as it pushed into the crystals confines before finally a low glow would erupt from this. The Holocron was a storage device contained and filled by way of the force itself, and through the force was how they were unlocked. It would be interesting to know what was the first thing they would be treated to, hell what the first words from the guardian would be would just as interesting.

Soon the Holocron itself would softly glow with its corners beginning to separate. It was still in the early stages, though, slowly rising into the air and resting there as the force flowed through it.

This had been the first time that Alexandra had ever actually worked to unlock a holocron, being she had never been able to get one in hand and now she was looking to hold three close to her and to learn them. It was a interest she had held for a long time, but now would be the first time that she actually had the chance to see the internal structures of the device and the first time she would learn directly from the source rather than through a copy of the information that was far less informative.
