Mercenary Company vs Dominions

I have a question pertaining to mercenary involvement in Doms:

Q. If my mercenary group was hired to assist in a major faction's Dom, but were asked to effectively compose most of the PCs involved, what would be the minimum ballpark figure for the faction's leaders being involved?

For Example: If I brought a number of mercs, and we were following the lead of 1-2 major faction Generals/Commanders, but we did the legwork under their orders alongside them in thread, would that count as a completed dom for the faction?

Dominions now are about the story, not so much a set number by whomever.

However, it is still a faction doing it, so I would expect to see some of the faction involved, even if the mercs are a big part. If you're so big and they are so small you sound like you need your own major faction.

The rules state:

• REPRESENTATION - How well is the Faction represented in the Dominion thread? For example, if two members post the bulk of the thread back-to-back, the Dominion is unlikely to be approved without more work from other Faction members.
• EFFORT - How much effort has the Faction put into the thread? As a general guideline, 50 average posts is an acceptable effort. A lower number of posts may be acceptable if clear effort has resulted in solid stories that reach a natural conclusion. Spammed posts with minimal effort will count against the Faction.

And also:
Other Major or Minor Factions may not interfere with a Dominion thread. They may participate as In-Character aid or opposition with the approval of the Faction Admins/Owner of the Major Faction undertaking the Dominion

So basically, the answer is...it depends. You'd want representation from the faction you're working with or else it'll likely be thrown out. How much depends on your story.

So I guess for an estimate, perhaps a near even representation of both groups could be considered okay? Such as 4 Major members, 5 mercs, but a nice story and sequence of events.

The more proper faction members, the better. Everything else is just icing.
