DESCRIPTION
The Mercury came from a realized need for more dedicated long-range firepower. Carriers have them out of a basic need to be able to launch their fighter screens but not dedicated ships for this particular theater. This particular cruiser's artillery ports are sectioned above the main hull and away from any possible interference. She is not strong in close combat though, requiring other ships involved.
