SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Enhances the potency of any consumable placed inside. Food, drink, chemicals, poisons, and alchemical brews.
  • Temporarily amplifies the beneficial or harmful properties of substances brewed within.
  • Imbues basic meals with fortifying qualities, granting minor physical boosts to those who consume them.
  • Durable, heat-resistant, and inherently resistant to Force-based corrosion or tampering.
STRENGTHS
  • Alchemical Amplifier: Dramatically boosts the effects of any substance placed within, making the brews and food/chemical preparations more potent.
  • Utility Tool: Doubles as a cooking pot, chemistry crucible, and ritual focus for alchemical experiments or Sith rites.
  • Passive Buffs: Even mundane items like stew or tea gain minor health-boosting effects when prepared in the cauldron.
WEAKNESSES
  • Unpredictable Results: If used by someone unfamiliar with Sith alchemy or Force techniques, the enhancements may be volatile or dangerous.
  • Dark Side Taint: The cauldron is steeped in Sith energy and may corrupt or disturb Light-aligned Force users or particularly sensitive individuals.
  • Skill Issue: You still need to know how to cook, or brew or whatnot. If you ruin a recipe, the food poisoning might actually kill you, because it also enhances the potency of the bad things.
  • Cannot Create, Only Enhance: The cauldron doesn't generate effects on its own; it only intensifies what's placed inside. Junk in, junk amplified.
DESCRIPTION
After a surprisingly funny yet sharp verbal exchange with Velok Brokentusk, Mercy was awarded a peculiar gift: a Sith alchemical cauldron left over from one of his many experiments. According to Velok, he had "better ones" lying around, but Mercy's audacity had earned her a spare. The cauldron, roughly the size of a small field brazier, is constructed from a black obsidian-like metal that pulse gently when heated or filled.

Though well-worn and used in appearance, the cauldron is a carefully crafted alchemical artifact, imbued with Sith rituals that allow it to act as a magnifier for properties of substances placed within. Food prepared in it becomes rich, hearty, and unusually invigorating. It can fortify the consumer against fatigue, mild injuries, or environmental stress. Drugs and chemicals mixed within become dangerously effective, enhancing both beneficial and harmful effects as well.

While its exact limits remain unclear, Mercy's pet alchemist has already begun pushing its boundaries. She tests brews and alchemical concoctions within the cauldron and notes how dramatically the results shift. The cauldron cannot create magic from nothing. It only empowers what is offered to it. And furthermore it doesn't magically make anything in it good and effective. If you screw up your meal, ruin your recipe, you will not just get food poisoning... it will probably actually kill you.

But that's just how Mercy liked it, benefits with some risks attached to them.
