While its origins and and exact base of operation remain widely lost to time and unknown, the Meriga Industries are still a notable provider of illegal weaponry and droids all around the galaxy. Their innovative and fairly cost efficient original designs and modifications to other blaster and droid models have given them a questionable, but a good reputation among smugglers, pirates and corrupted officials alike.
RATIONALE
Meriga's roots lie in the idea of producing weapons and equipment affordable even by the ordinary civilian, but still of such quality that they could even be used by private armies.
