- Weapons Platform: The successor to the Mandalorian Gunship, the Meteor-Class M-Carrier sported an impressive assortment of weapons which made it a versatile combat dropship.
- Maneuverability: Its gimble mounted ion engines provided top-class maneuverability and the ability to take off and land without use of landing gear.
- Compartmentalized Build: Able to withstand full hull perforations and keep on chugging
- Stranded: Without a hyperdrive, if one of these were to be left by their allies they would be stranded.
- Ion Engines: The large arms that connect the four ion engines are not as armored as the main hull of the ship
- Ion Weapons: Ion torpedoes and heavy ion cannons will disable the ship
As well as being utilized as a troop transport in under heavy fire, the M-carrier was also used as a system patrol craft, customs enforcement vessel, and boarding craft. Able to utilize its impressive weapons compliment and impressive troop carrying capacity, it was a staple among local system law enforcement group The Mandalorian Protectors and was praised for its impressive manueverability being such a large and unwieldy looking craft. Gimble mounted arms connected the ship to its four ion engines. Each arm could be moved independently of one another, which allowed the ship to perform impressive hover-based maneuvers, turn tight corners at high speeds, and incredibly quick and smooth stops. However, because of this, the arms were also the most vulnerable part of the ship and without shields could be blown off in one or two hits at the mount.
Deployed in groups the M-Carrier was a terrifying sight to behold as its troop bays could hold several dozen Mandalorian troopers and two I'dadr-class bes'uliik. The troop bay had 6 side doors, 3 port and starboard, which allowed the troopers to perform aerial assaults or quickly return to in rapid retreats via jetpack or repulsor pack. Some had their main deck converted into command rooms and could be used to uplink to forward command bases or a fleet's command ship which provided commanders on the M-carriers information and the ability to communicate with their troops far and wide. While supremely adaptable warship was commissioned for future endeavors of the Mandalorian Empire, the ship was also sold in limited numbers to private defense forces, mercenary groups, and private collectors.
