- Heavy Impact: Carries a good among of power with ith's rail/coil gun system able to fling the slug rounds at high speed out of the large barrel, able to punch through armor with reasonable ease.
- Extra ammo: Has a large ammo capacity with the belt magazine supplied makes the weapon able to keep up its rate of fire for a good amount of time before needing to be reloaded.
- Suppressing Fire: The high rate of fire from the MG No1makes the weapon good for suppressing large enemy formations and giving high amount of fire power for troops, defending or attacking.

With a good range of infantry weapons made the Tytheish army looked towards making a heavy machine/infantry support weapon to add more fire power to it's ground troops. Said weapon needed the ability to act as a mounted heavy turret able to lay down an impressive among of fire power while also being movable for carrying me a couple of people for quick deployment.
Taking inspiration from the E-Web blaster from the galactic civil war the royal armory produced a heavily mod-able machine that cane be used for light support and heavy defense. Said new weapon taking after the princesses middle name, being called the Fedica. Along with the Endfield and Springfield weapons the IG is designated to the standard issue support weapon for the Tythish Royal Armed forces.
