Special Features:
Seeker and Tracker Focus: This focus allows Micah to magnify his natural psychometric and Force Tracking senses even further than normal, perceiving visions of the past and of their distant target's surroundings, but even then this does not provide him omniscience. This ability is enhanced with a drop of the target's blood he is tracking, or similarly with hair, or an personal intimate object. Even then, it will take several acts of constant referencing, meditating, and focusing to keep on track, as his target may be in constant motion, locked behind a Force Cage, or in a ysalamiri field.
I see you brought your little friend! - Like a Tashi Force Bond Tracker, when a wearer is in close mental or physical contact with a target, the wearer gets some degree of awareness as to the proximity, distance, and emotional state of sapients that have a strong force bond with the target, such as family, friends, apprentices, masters, and close combat buddies. In other words, upon engaging in conflict with an enemy, one might get an impression of related opponents on approach from other angles.
No Darksiders Pls - As the talisman is constructed using Micah's lightside energies, a Darkside user putting it on will be at best unable to use it, at worst suffer a very nasty burning rash.
Description:
Micah comes from a family legacy that has a vast wealth of information and knowledge in sith alchemy. His grandfather Moridin, his father, his uncle Dissero, and the women of the Shamalain line are all powerful in their own rights when it comes to artifacts and their creation. At his disposal, while he is no Master Alchemist yet, he had the ability to consult the immense library of information from his father and the aid of his Uncle Dissero who himself is a Master Alchemist.
This gives him an incredible wealth of knowledge from both his Great Uncle Dissero, the journals of his grandfather (the ones his father and uncle would even let him review and highly supervised) and the knowledge given to him by his father, Soliael Devin Talith that he had acquired his entire lifetime. Micah's spent much of his time studying with his Uncle Dissero, his father, and during the times he would visit the Jedi with his mother, studied lightside alchemy classes and Jal Shey Force Imbuing techniques. Due to his interest in Force Tracking, Psychometry, and desire to make sure he could find his family and friends, he decided to craft a Tracking Talismen after studying the Tashi Bond Tracker.
He would craft it out of alchemized Titanium, wrapped around a single force imbued Kasha crystal, etched with Nihil smokestone fragments to its surface. The strands that make up the necklace and the cage are unbreakable, massive amounts of the force having gone into their forging. A Kasha crystal were used to clear the mind of distractions in order to create a perfect meditation environment. Patterns were scribed on the sphere of the crystal to harness its full energy potential, with Nihilsmoke stone lodged on those patterns. Nihil smokestone is known had the ability to act as a mental receiver and transmitter, bringing to full circle the talisman.
Much like the Tashi bond Tracker he purchased while on Tash Taral, the study of the bone trinket made him decide to mimic the power. When a wearer is in close mental or physical contact with a target, the wearer gets some degree of awareness as to the proximity, distance, and emotional state of sapients that have a strong force bond with the target, such as family, friends, apprentices, masters, and close combat buddies. Obviously the force bond aspect will not work for droids, Epicanthix, or Yuuzhan Vong. The talisman's effectiveness can be enhanced by contact with the close target's blood, but even with a blood sample, a clear head, and a highly Force-sensitive hunter, the talisman does not grant anything like omniscience relative to secondary targets. With his increased prowess, he decided to come up with a secondary attribute as a focus to help him track family, friends, and anyone who he could lock on originally through the Force. Through his studies of the Witches of Dathomir culture while in the Yavin 4 Jedi Academy, Micah spent many years in Witch Town, learning from as many as he could about the Warlock of Yavin, his methods, the Rekali Clan, and their ways.
Much like the Witches of Dathomir Talisman of Finding and the Keetael method of perceiving visions of the past and of their distant target's surroundings, this focus allows Micah to magnify his senses even further than normal, but even then, does not provide him omniscience. This talismen focus is constantly being attuned and enhanced. The more he continues to grow in his expertise, the wider the sphere of the Focus can get.
