Mid August News​

First things first: [member="Matsu Xiangu"] is stepping down from the Admin position over the One Sith. As long as I can remember, Matsu has been a guiding force in the running of the OS, since back when Darth Isolda was still owner. While we should all take a moment to understand that actively being an Admin of a Major faction is no small feat, we were more than fortunate to have her as part of the leadership for the time she could commit. Taking her place will be [member="Sage Bane"], who as stepped up to the plate prior to this promotion in conciliation of the Ord Mirit Invasion. Congratulations to Sage Bane.

We currently have a couple of active dominions taking place:
-Dominion of Gratos
-Dominion of Mayferria

Active Faction threads/skirmishs:
-Skirmish over Coruscant Prison (Rebels) - Just Starting
-Skirmish over Csilla (Rebles) - Almost Over
-OOC to current OS tournament - Signups are locked but it's a good read, multiple matches going right now.

The OS admin team is planning on taking a more active role in the promotion of acolytes, especially those who currently have no masters (though everyone will be watched). As such, we will be actively auditing the tracker thread for acolytes and knights that we consider applicable for the promotion process. As such, the following members have been approved by the Admin to be promoted to knight (you don't have to accept this, it is merely a notification for promotion allowance should you wish it):

Keep your eyes towards the sky: we plan to implement a member of the month award for the OS. We will select a member of the OS who will receive unique bling and/or IC awards for their participation and commitment to the OS, specific to every month.

Finally, I want to thank everyone who participated in the invasion of Ord Mirit. It was with your support and assistance that we were able to successfully defend against the invading forces and further fortify our boundaries. If you have any ideas for how to improve the OS or something you feel interested in (new dominions, skirmishes, sub factions, etc), please contact the OS Admins and we can discuss things.

I would like to thank everyone in the One Sith for being such a killer group to work with while I was admin. You're a fun group full of some insanely creative people.

Even though I'm stepping down, I am still part of the faction both IC and OOC! My time as admin was just up.
