MID NOVEMBER BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
Hold on to your pants, this gonna be a good one.
The One Sith has successfully invaded Contruum as well as defended successfully against invasion of Balmorra. This marks a long string of decisive victories, forever transforming the One Sith Empire from its humble beginnings to one of the most prominent dominions on the map. And that's all thanks to you all, the members, who have helped carry this faction to greatness. If you check the most recent map update, you will notice that the most recent invasions have also successfully cleaved the Galactic Republic dominion, removing over 25 planets from their domain. To date, one of the most detrimental cloudbreaks to occur on the site. Congratulations everyone, you all have done extremely well.
For November, because of her hard work in the invasions and willingness to jump directly into assisting the One Sith both IC and OOC, we are rewarding @Sinistra with November Member of the Month. Along with the appropriate bling, Sinistra ([member="Kira Corsai"]) is awarded the unique Mask of the Dark Lord. Thank you for all your help Sin, we really do appreciate it.
Now, for the changes that will have lasting impacts on the faction. I'm hoping for the best.
I am stepping down as Faction Owner. If you all remember my thread about faction/admin term limits, that was something we took to heart. The Faction needs new blood and it needs to go in a direction that I can't take it. I don't know what that direction is and maybe that's why this will be for the best. To bring in new blood. I have every bit of faith that this faction will thrive in my absence and wish it the best of luck with continued expansion and destruction of the Lightside pacifists. Remember, everything changes (except war...war never changes).
[member="Vrag"], since the Netherworld event, has been helping me with every aspect of running the faction. Even when she wasn't Admin, her touch was felt in all of the different planning and development stages for the OS. I am extremely lucky and grateful to have gotten to work and write with her, guiding this faction towards such devastating results. And along with me, she will be stepping down from leadership.
Finally, [member="Sage Bane"] has been helping us run the faction through some of the hardest times that I can recall. She's always been a devout supporter of this faction and its creative freedoms, helping Vrag and I to weather the recent controversies that have ailed the OS. The likes of which we have overcome with grace because of her help. She will be stepping down as well.
While Sage Bane will be stepping down immediately, Vrag and I will still remain through the transfer to new ownership. We will assist in training or bringing up to speed whoever the faction nominates and votes in favor. In the next couple days, I will be posting a nomination thread and three days following that, we will have a week long voting period to determine who will take over. Now, during the last two invasions, we brought in two additional people to learn from us and develop. [member="Darth Pyrrhus"] and [member="Isamu Baelor"], both in unofficial admin positions. I will explain in the nomination thread but our vote of confidence will openly go to Darth Pyrrhus as the new faction owner and in our humble opinion, Isamu makes a fantastic admin nominee. But in the end, this will all come down to you all, the writers of the One Sith. Vote for who you all think will lead you best.
Now, as a final portion of this announcement, a timeline (created by Vrag). This will mark the ending of the current faction administration, heralding the incoming of new Leadership.
