HEIGHT: Average
WEIGHT: Average
EYES: Deep Blue
HAIR: White
SKIN: Pale
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
APPEARANCE:
Mij is a master of the change of shape, choosing to often move around in his favoured form of a large white canid.
In his natural form, his arboreal shape is gnarled and pale white with few leaves or branches, though with strong roots.
When he chooses to appear human, he takes the form of an old man, with long white hair and a long white beard, often in white robes and leaning on a white staff.
PERSONALITY
A vagabond at heart, Mij prefers to spend his time drinking and telling stories when he tires of exploring and meddling. He carries a great responsibility with the power he wields, but works hard not to show that side of himself to anyone, more than content with the image of an idle braggart. Likewise he prefers to hide his intelligence behind a veil of indifferent ignorance, and takes care not to show off his knowledge outside his tight knit family unit.
Among family who know him well, he still plays the fool, but can and does snap immediately into a serious and almost solemn calmness when there is serious work to be done or danger to be dealt with. Only in times of need will the deadly serious Mijaras the Eternal put in an appearance, taking the place of the whimsical Mij.

BIOGRAPHY:
Mijaras was born to a life-pair of Neti on the world of Auratera. His youth was spent alone with his parents in a remote mountain home, far from civilization. His father and mother ran an orphanage, and he grew up among others of his species, who became his brothers. When the boys were nearing their first century of life, the family was struck by disaster, and forced to flee the world.
The stress of leaving Auratera was too much for the parents, who regressed more and more into their arboreal forms, as the brothers cared for them and took care of one another. Mijaras took a lead role as the eldest and trueborn son, but each brother was capable in his own right of taking charge when needed. Martel and Markel, twins, tended the home and the family finances. Mordan was the warrior, and Mijaras the philosopher. All four were powerful Force sensitives, and trained together.
The family came to find a new permanent home aboard an Ithorian herd ship, a floating forest that traveled through the galaxy. Mij buried his parents' roots in the soil of the herdship when they became too feeble to move anymore, and in time, they merged with the Force, leaving their tree forms behind. The brothers lived and worked aboard the liveship, providing aid and support to the worlds they visited, and earning their keep among the Ithorians.
One day many centuries later, the herd ship came to pass through the sector where Auratera lay, and Mijaras met a woman named Belisax. The two became companions, and were soon married. Their life together was a happy one, and she became a part of their small and tight knit family unit, traveling with them aboard the herdship.
Many more centuries later, the herdship made a stop at Auratera itself, and Belisax became great with child. Happiness and joy blessed the family as she birthed twins, a rare and precious gift among their long lived people. Polarax and Mijnas were beautiful girls, and their father loved them as dearly as their mother.
Tragedy was to intervene, as Belisax fell ill, and died when the girls were still infants, breaking their father's heart, and leaving the twins in the care of their uncles. Mijaras fell into despair and wandered alone for a decade, sinking into depression, and depravity, and seeking solace from his pain. Loss and grief were terrible enough, and his was magnified by the several happy centuries he had lived with his wife, now lost to him forever. He rememebers little of this time in his life, filled as it is with pain, that is probably for the best.
Finally losing patience with his errant brother, Mordan, hardiest of the four brothers, forcibly returned the father to his children, and smothered grief with duty, and a helping of shame and beatings. The family drew in around itself, and slowly but surely, Mijaras was healed in part, and reconciled with his daughters, though Mijnas accepted him more easily back into their lives than Polarax did.
Their happiness was not to last long. The herd ship was old and often broke down. In this case, a power conduit overloaded a generator just as Mijnas was passing by, and she was killed instantly. The loss wracked the entire family with guilt and regret, though it finally reconciled Pol to her father in their shared grief and loss. Together, they were able to endure, and surrounded by one another, the little family recovered itself.
Over the decades and centuries, Mijaras and his brothers marveled at the talent of the young Polarax, as they took up the duty of training her in the ways of their magic. Soon, they came to an agreement that they would accede command to her, and retire to the family's comfortable greendome inside the herd ship. Mijaras had no intention of quietly slipping into his dotage, and Polgarax likely saw right through the old men's feeble attempts to trick her.
For the first time in millennia, the old dog has no duties to attend to, and the freedom to explore the galaxy once more.
