Hawke
The Strategist
[member="Noah Corek"]
War. War never changes. It seemed so far away though. Like a bird in a cage she'd been stuck out at Eastern Command ever since she was recruited in to The Republic by the old Chancellor Jack Harkness at the end of the war. And that was now a long time ago. It seemed long anyways. It wasn't all bad though; in a way at least. With much of their forces in the west, Hawke was one of the highest ranking officers out in the arm. She liked the power she had. Not in the evil way mind you. With it she'd been cleaning up the messes that were already here and those made by the lack of manpower and logistics here. A Commander could only do so much though.
Today Hawke was to take a foreign officer named Corek under her charge. Part of some officers exchange program. A welcome change to break up the monotony of the day to day. And luckily for Corek they were in port for a few more days on Dellalt. A beautiful ocean world. So it won't be all stuffy regulations and running the ship business the whole time with little else.
Noah's shuttle should be setting down soon she was told. Hawke awaited the Protectorate Officer at the southern continents Space Port terminal. She'd be on the tarmac if it wasn't so humid out. No need to get sweaty now. "I wonder what he's like".
