APPEARANCE:
Millia is a female near-human with purple skin and blue hair. She is on the short side at just over five feet tall. Being Kuranu her blue eyes have no pupils. She is most often seen in the galaxy wearing simple adventure gear and carrying a satchel to carry a datapad and other various instruments.
BIOGRAPHY:
Millia Korraay was born to a poor Kuranu family on the planet Manaan. Finding a place that could be sterile enough for five germaphobes was a difficult and expensive task for Millia’s parents. When the Jedi came calling when Millia was five informing the Kuranu parents of their daughter’s gifts they were ok with giving up their daughter as Millia expressed excitement about the possibilities.
Becoming a Jedi initiate did not eliminate the ingrained fear of germs that were a quirk of many Kuranu. As such Millia took lots of showers, visited decontamination labs often and basically kept her distance from other students. As a result she had a hard time learning social skills and developing a bond with the others in the Order. Luckily she found the archives early in her training and dedicated herself to a scholarly life.
She was assigned to a Fosh knight named Velieris for her apprenticeship. It was not a match made in heaven as far as convenience went, but it was exactly what the Council had intended it be when they made the assignment. Millia’s scholarly nature pushed buttons within Velieris. And Velieris’ warrior mentality did the same in Millia. Though the Fosh eventually became a wayseeker, she earned the rank of Master first and Millia became a knight. She is now devoted to finding every piece of Jedi lore that had yet to be uncovered.
