Aida Aquila was always in favor of a trip to Chalacta. It was quite a special place to the Jedi Traveler, she’d spent a few years living and learning at an ancient Chalactan Temple. Here, they revered peace, tranquility, and balance. And, she was pleased to be able to share this temple with fellow members of the Order of the Silver Jedi.

As their transport set down on the sandy ground, the blonde Jedi would stand to address her traveling companions, “Thank you for journeying with me to Chalacta today.” She started, her blue eyes alight. “We are fortunate to have the opportunity to practice Telekinesis today at the Temple Shaantil. Please gather your things and follow me.”

Outside, they were greeted by a small party of Chalactan Jedi.

Aida bowed in greeting and followed as they began to lead the way towards the temple. Her breezy white robe billowed gently about her ankles, quite light an appropriate for the warm weather. It was certainly hot today -- but not oppressive by any means. The dry heat would be quite good for telekinesis practice, she mused silently.

Gathering the group in the courtyard, she smiled. “Now, then. We shall begin training,” She stepped into the middle of the courtyard. “To my left, you will see the Ikana stones -- modeled after the famed Muntuur Stones. Our advanced users may enjoy a test of skill. Carefully, see how many stones you can lift and hold aloft. But, beware -- the first is one ton and they increase in weight as you go, with the largest weighing approximately five tons.” An enigmatic smile. “Please ensure that you are in the right state of mind to tackle such a feat, you may wish to meditate first.”

Aida stepped to the right, where there were several piles of smaller stones. She glanced to the remainder of the class. “And, for those learning or looking to practice telekinesis, we have set up a task for you, too. But, first… are there any questions?”

[OOC: The basic level training will commence shortly. Advanced users may wish to try lifting the Ikana stones. Please note that it is VERY difficult, Yoda was only able to lift five. The smallest stone is 1 ton, they increase in weight up to 5 tons -- there are seven total.

The energetic sensation that Ashelia felt upon visiting a planet that she had never stepped foot on before had still not gone away, in spite of the trip she had taken to a mystical pocket dimension within the Chiloon Rift and her initial arrival Kashyyyk just before that. Having lived most of her life in the depths of the Coruscanti underworld, the idea of a planet which was not simply entire an entire city had been nigh-unbelievable to the diminutive Initiate the first time she had heard of it. Like the first time she had arrived on Kashyyyk, Ashelia took a deep breath of the clean and natural air around her as soon as she stepped off of the transport. Like the weather forecast had reported, it was hot, but Ashelia had taken the advice of one the more senior members of the Order to dress for the weather.

As the small group was led towards the temple, Ashelia took in her surroundings through her heterochromatic gaze. The temple itself seemed to be set within a small canyon with a clear and unpolluted sky overhead. The main building was decorated with a series of artful carvings. However, unlike Kashyyyk, there was far less vegetation on the ground, but the location was still a stunning representation of natural beauty to Ashelia. The Force flowed freely and calmly in the location, which made it perfect for training and meditation.

Ashelia listened in silence after the tall Master stopped the group in the middle of the courtyard in order to address the group. She had read of the Munturr Stones back when she was still worked as a lower level club dancer (albeit, with an obsessive interest in the Force) on Coruscant. Before she gained the ability to sense the Force, Ashelia had made numerous futile attempts to independently study telekinesis. At the time, she had not been able to move even the smallest crumb in spite of her best efforts. Fortunately, her newly acquired sensitivity to the Force had granted her the ability to move most small objects, but she still had much to learn regarding the art of telekinesis in order to reach her goals.

After the elegantly statured Master finished speaking, Ashelia’s small hand was among the first that shot into the air.

“Will we be learning theory, as well, Master?” Ashelia spoke when she was called upon to ask her questions. “Also, how much scope will the lessons today cover? Will you be teaching any advanced techniques later on?”

Looking outside from the transport ship and seeing the serenity Chalacta area with his own two eyes through one the windows, Jasper was mesmerized. He obviously never been to a place a like this before in his life and he knew this. He the place in front of his eyes was very different from his home planet based in the outer rim. He never seen statues such as the ones in front of the Chalactan temple and didn’t even need to tour inside the temple itself to realize how different the temple was compared to the ones he was living with others were he been learning most of the force techniques that been his main motivation for leaving his planet and stepping out of his comfort zone when using the force.

Noticing the elevation of the ship lowering to the ground he focused his attention to the Jedi Master teaching the class who waving at them from the ground. He tried his best to get information on her and her skills through the other students in the temple, but he was wasn’t very successful. All he did know was that she seems to be middle aged person and was a private person. The latter he could relate to but also worried him since he didn’t liked the learning under someone he didn’t know very well but figured she could be trust as she was given the title of Jedi master from the people in the temple who are leader in maintaining peace throughout the universe. As soon as the ships lands as the doors to the outside open, the dry heat of the land connected to Jasper greatly to the point of him feeling the heat going toward him like a beam of light hitting his whole body. He knew it was going to be warm after learning the information of where he was going train from the others and made sure to wear light clothing to lessen the heat but it could only do so much for the moment.

His first views were focused a bit more on the temple before they shifted toward [member="Aida Aquila"] Master who was now talking to him and other students that arrive with him for training. Following her though the temple he took note of the old walls that were near him and reminded himself to ask question about the place one he was finished with his training here. He was a young teenager after all and was curious of this place, where did this temple come from? Who formerly lived here? Who built the place? He put those question and more into the back of his mind for now however as he observed the stones that were in front of him. He almost forgotten about the small party of Chalactan Jedi that were around due to being in the temple at the first time and being amazed at it.

Now inside the courtyard of the temple. Jasper hears the words of the Jedi Master about the framed Munturr Stones and looked at few in an attempt to examine their from afar. He didn’t want to go first due to the fear of exposing himself on something he has no info on and waited to see the other students tackle the stones first to get a better understanding of how difficult lifting them with the force was going to be. Being a ton was a lot and was going to require for meditation and mental readiness before doing it himself but for now he just waited to see how the others would fare.

Even the best Jedi could use a refresher. While she did not consider herself a very good Jedi, nor the best, she could also use some practice. She'd tagged along, using her extensive network of contacts to land this gig. Training was always good. Even Masters of the Force had more to learn.

She gave a quick survey to the students. Lots of rookies here. She was decent at TK herself.

Stripping off her dirty tunic, and folding it, she sat down. Criss cross applesauce she closed her eyes, deepened her breath and let her body relax. Meditation was easy for her, having done nothing but sail the black in a trance for quite some time. Her body slipped into the waves of the force. She was lost now, swimming in a deep pool of light green and blue currents.

One stone was nearby.

That'll be enough....

Aida's brows lofted slightly as she listened to @Ashelia. The blonde offered a smile and a gentle nod. “The theory is rather simple – telekinesis allows the user to manipulate physical matter. One may hold, lift, or move an object... all without actually laying a finger on it.” She placed a slim finger against the side of her head. “A feat of the mind, and the force.”

Nearby, there were several stacks of rocks, sizes ranged from pebbles to small boulders.

Holding out her palm, a fist-sized rock rose from the pile and floated for a moment before moving swiftly to Aida's waiting hand. “You can manipulate a small target, such as this – and when practiced, your skill can grow to include something the size of the Ikana stones.” She gestured to the monolith stones that loomed across the courtyard.

“Of course, this skill takes quite a lot of practice. And that is why we are here today.” She smiled to each of her students, and her eyes found [member="Elwyn Fasdan"], noting the unfamiliar presence. “There are some advanced applications, but we will be focusing on basic skills today. However, we can certainly hold additional classes to include those in the future.”

She glanced to [member="Jasper Candos"] and offered a kind smile.

“Would you like to try first?” She asked, canting her head. “Reach out with the force, and see if you can lift a stone from the pile over there... and set it before us.” He would have his pick of any stone from the pile -- small or large. Aida glanced to Ashelia, “Feel free to try as well.”

I hope they don't get mad

The young Jedi thought as he jogged his way towards the Temple. Kiran himself couldn't deny that if they did, they would have every right too. The Jedi padawan had never been to Chalacta, and for the place being how it was. It was truly quite nice to him. Kiran took a moment or two to just breath in the air around him. It was times like these that made being a Jedi so much fun, yes it could get quite stressful.

These moments made up for it though.

Kiran caught up with the group as he gave a small apologetic bow to them and Master Aida

"Forgive my tardiness Master, I got uh, distracted." Kiran cleared his throat as he fell in line with the rest of the group.

The diminutive Initiate listened quietly as the elegantly featured Master answered her two questions. She was relieved to hear that theory was not a significant part of studying telekinesis. Ashelia already needed to read through a pile of books regarding various theories on the Force, and although she enjoyed reading, she wanted to finish the texts that she was reading before adding more to her queue. Unfortunately, the short-statured Elzeri had wanted to learn a few advanced techniques, but she was well aware of her own limitations regarding her ability to use the Force. Ashelia knew that she was not ready to learn any advanced techniques, but similar limitations had not stopped her before.

She would not even be here if they did.

“Thank you, Master.” Ashelia responded as she returned the blonde-haired woman’s kind smile with one of her own. Then, with a deep breath the Initiate turned towards the large pile of pebbles, stones, and boulders and closed her eyes.

The Force flowed gently through her like water in a mountain stream. When Ashelia tapped into the Unifying Force, she envisioned the pile of rocks in front of her through the Force itself. Then, the Elzeri extended her telekinetic senses around the rocks before choosing one of the heavier boulders to exert her will upon. Ashelia centralized her focus on the large boulder and extended her hands outward in order to unconsciously guide her efforts.

The boulder slowly but surely lifted itself off of the ground and levitated a few feet up in the air for a brief moment before it floated towards the tiny Initiate. When the rock was at a satisfactorily close distance, Ashelia exhaled and guided the object to the ground. She found that descending the boulder was much harder than the act of ascending it, because she had to work against the influence of gravity while simultaneously restraining her power so as to not push the object crashing to the ground.

With a deep sigh of relief, Ashelia opened her eyes and looked to the blue-eyed Master in anticipation of her assessment of the task.

It had been a long time since Thol had worn his Jedi robes.

The material felt thick and scratched the skin, compared to some of the other - more expensive - clothing the young Jedi typically wore. Part of being a Silver Shadow involved keeping up appearances, blending in, remaining unseen amid the crowd. So the usual attire wasn't Jedi robes. Yet, when not on active missions, Thol was required to wear the more traditional garb, so he figured it would just take a little time to become reacquainted with the robes.

Still very itchy, though.

In the meantime, he was wandering the Shaantil Temple. The ancient building was impressive, carved into the side of a mountain by highly skilled hands. The old passages within almost seemed to echo with the voices of the past, as sensations of Jedi long gone floated through the Kiffar's mind, of tales lost to time and deeds to dust. For a moment Thol considered reaching out, to touch the temple walls, to see if his ability to glimpse the history of an object - or even living thing - would reveal any new secrets... but the risk was great, there would be a plethora of information to digest; especially in a temple this old, it could overwhelm the Jedi's mind, like a dam bursting and washing over him in a raging torrent.

No, it was better to keep his organic hand to himself, to avoid the temples whispers for now.

Before long, the Jedi Knight stepped out into the courtyard. He immediately noticed several young Jedi gathered around the trainee circle, where the smaller stacks of stones and rocks were piled, and smirked to himself. Leading the training was Master Aquila, who Thol was somewhat familiar with, if only from his past within the Order. Years prior, the calm Jedi Master had helped Thol learn similar lessons, to what others present were learning, helping him develop his natural capabilities within telekinesis. By having had a strong foundation provided by Master Aquila to continue learning and practicing from, Thol was pleased that today his ability to move objects was considerable compared to others of similar ranks to himself... perhaps he would have the chance to show her how far he had come.

Though I don't want to discourage the learners.

Instead, Thol walked over to a nearby pillar and stood beside it, out of the walkway toward the temple interior. He simply watched, face neutral, as the sun warmed the top of the draped hood over his head, and the shoulders of the flowing cloak, he wore... which still itched terribly.

Facing toward the Jedi Master upon being glanced from her, Japser feel a small tight feel into his gut when he was asked to lift something with the force first. The tight feeling only grew bigger when he was told to lift a stone from a pile and being it to them. A part of him winced inside as him trying to use the force to lift stone first wasn’t part of his plan and was now in what he felt was a serious situation. He wanted to watch the other students lift the stones with the force themselves so he could get a better understanding of each of them since he could understand the pressure that would on to him. He didn’t want to be the one student in this class that had the weakness connection to the force and he didn’t want to prove that possibility by being the only one able to lift just the smaller size stones. On the other hand, he didn’t wanted to do anything to get Master Aquila on her bad side for any reason. Jasper felt that he was ordered to lift one of told stones because he didn’t know the Jedi Master enough to know if she was asking or ordering him. He didn’t know how the Jedi Master would feel If he told her he waited to wait and see other try lifting the stone and it made him nervous to the point of almost showing it on his face.

“Sure…” He said in the end, with a lack of confidence in his tone that could be heard. He hated not being able to look at the others with his full attention but took solace in the fact that he will see how far his limits to the force are. He tried to rationalize himself in hopes to get his confidence up by saying things like : “ this is just a class, not everyone going to be looking at you, you’ll do great” but they work to little effect with his gut tightening up as he looked over to the pile of stones. He carefully looked at the stones for a few seconds. Making sure he chose one that wasn’t too small for him that would be too easy for him or too big that would show his limits. He finally made a choice at one of the stones. One that looked to be in the middle in terms of size.

Taking in deep breaths and exhaling them, Jasper began to stick his hand out while closing his eyes in order to better concentrate. He though about the stone that he wanted to lift and only it, clearing his mind of all the distractions around him. He knew the stone should be have at least been lifted from the ground and upon opening his eyes he does. A stone could be seen in the air as he slowly began to move it to him. He didn't mind it coming to him at the pace it's moving since it would eventually be in front of Jasper after a few seconds.

Aida turned, brows lofted slightly as [member="Kiran Arlos"] ran up and bowed. “Glad you could join us,” She said, offering a small smile. As he fell in line with the others, [member="Ashelia"] started off with her practice. The blonde master watched with interest, noting the way the force flowed around the young woman. It was always refreshing to be among learners, Aida mused silently for a moment. Their energy was so new and so enthusiastic. But, before she could get lost in her own thoughts, she nodded.

“Very good control,” she said.

And her attention shifted to [member="Jasper Candos"], she could easily sense his unease. But, maintained her calming presence, even extending it out to the young man. Confidence came with time and practice. She looked on as Jasper began to clear his mind and she felt the gentle touch of the force as he reached out towards the stones. His stone began to lift, and it moved towards him, just as directed.

Aida placed a soft hand on his shoulder. “Excellent work, Jasper.” She said, giving him an encouraging smile. For a moment, her blue gaze drifted – finding the form of [member="Thol Amroth"] in the distance.

Ah, yes. She had been hoping that their paths would cross again. Of course, the force often brought people together, it was all a simple matter of when. The Jedi traveler was curious, had he been keeping up with his own practice of telekinesis? How many stones could he lift now? Aida held her hand up in greeting, silently bidding Thol to join them if he wished. If not, she would certainly catch up with him.

“Next,” She said, stepping towards the stack of stones. “I would like each of you to construct a rock structure – consisting of many stones, each of different sizes. It can be any shape you'd like – a simple tower or something more complicated if you're feeling ambitious. You may need to put your focus on holding the structure up as you are adding to it, lest your tower crumble.”

This planet would not be Sigyn's first choice for the place to learn telekinesis. It was hot, and dry, and not to her taste at all. But it wasn't she who had decided, nor could if she wanted. So she just had to follow the will of jedi master[member="Aida Aquila"], who would be teaching them the art of moving Things through the force.

Sigyn walked out of the Shuttle With the other students, but kept to the back. She did not want to be seen, or rather picked to be the first to try. She doubted she was weaker than the others in the force, but she had been brought into the order quite late for a jedi. Thus, she had not been given the training the younglings recieved.

She listened as master Aquila told them about how to do it, and the question [member="Ashelia"] had. Then came the part she had dreaded: to actually try to lift the stones. Luckily, she was not picked to be the first to try it. Ashelia and [member="Jasper Candos"] was to try it first, and Sigyn looked on With anticipation. Both of them managed to lift their stone. It didn't look too hard, but she knew it really was.

Sigyn stood in front of a stone of her own, looking at it hard to remember how it looked. Then she closed her eyes, and focused on the force. She opened herself to it, and pictured the stone in her head. Her hand was held out towards it, both inside and outside of her head. Then she pictured the stone levitating, focusing hard on it. It felt like she actually did lift it.

But the feeling left as soon as it came, and she heard a small sound as the stone hit the ground. She opened her eyes, and saw that it had fell Down some inches from where it had originally laid. She let out a sigh, thinking that all the others would master it, and her alone had not. What had gone wrong? She had used to force before, mostly to feel where Things were, and a few times to push or pull Things. So why couldn't she keep the stone levitating? The frusteration was agonizing. And she knew Master Aquila had seen her fail in her attempt.

A circle.

It was the first idea that came into Ashelia’s mind when the elegant-featured Master mentioned a structure, and the Initiate immediately decided that was the shape she would attempt to create with her rock sculpture. It would be intensely difficult, purely because of the fact that she would have to hold it up with the Force as she worked on it. There would be very little she could do to make the sculpture stay up on its own. Fortunately, that was exactly the way Ashelia wanted it. To say the least, the diminutive Elzeri loved a challenge and she wanted to do something that would put her fledgling abilities to the test. What better way to do that than to attempt something that was nearly impossible according to the laws of physics?

The Initiate closed her eyes and once again let the currents of the Unifying Force flow into her like a river emptying into an ocean. She would need to build up her reserves of energy in order to succeed in the task laid out before her. Within her mind, Ashelia visualized the sculpture that she would create. She planned to make the circle as high as she was tall and as wide as a small couch.

With a deep intake of air, Ashelia projected the Force out to a pair of boulders and lifted both into the air. Ashelia opened her eyes to guide the two rocks to her. Then, she gently set them down on top of the boulder she had previously called to herself, with each one taking up half of the lower boulder’s upper surface area. Fortunately, when she tested the balance of the rocks on top of each other, she found that she did not have to focus on holding the structure up just yet. With another deep breath to establish her focus, Ashelia levitated another pair of boulders to herself and she slowly lowered them onto the two boulders she had positioned on top of the one at the base. Through the shifting currents of the Force, the Initiate sensed the structure on the verge of collapse and she immediately exerted her influence to stabilize it.

By that point, sweat had welled up on Ashelia’s brow as she pushed her mind on the verge of its limits. Nevertheless, Ashelia fully intended to push herself to the point of total failure. Through the Force, she lifted another pair of rocks and set them onto their respective boulders on the forming circle, though she found it significantly harder than before. She added another pair of rocks, and then another to the growing sculpture. It was at that point she felt a few drops of crimson liquid stream from her nose. Ashelia felt lightheaded and nauseous, but she still felt connected to the currents of the Force. With a wheezing breath, she lifted another two boulders, both of which seemed far heavier than any of the others she had picked up before.

“I am one with the Force, the Force is one with me. I am one with the Force, the Force is one with me.” Ashelia softly repeated to herself as she guided to the two rocks to the sculpture. She felt another few drops of blood fall from her nostrils, which went on to stain her white dress red. Her vision began to swirl before her eyes, but she could still make out the rocks through the haze of her vision and she saw that she was almost halfway done with the sculpture. I’m almost done, the Initiate thought to herself as she closed her eyes. I can do this. I am one with the Force and it is one with me. She then projected her will onto another pair of boulders, and with every fiber of her being, she lifted them high into the air and called them to her.

“I am one with the Force, the Force is-” The two rocks in the air and the sculpture itself suddenly went crashing to the ground before her eyes, and Ashelia perceived her world turning upside down before blackness filled her senses.

Rock structure?

She wanted them to construct it yes.

But two Jedi were always better than one. While she had been able to move her rock, moving multiples was taxing. You could only spin so many wheels for so long before you started losing track of them. Every time she breathed, she felt the fatigue of wielding the awesome powers.

She turned to [member="Sigyn Vanir"] whom seemed to be struggling as well.

She smiled, and brushed a strand of hair back, locking eyes with her, hands folded still neatly on her thighs.

"Shall we work together?"

Moving over to [member="Sigyn Vanir"], Aida offered the young woman a gentle smile. Yes, she remembered the flame-haired padawan, she'd met her recently, after all. It was good to see that she was already jumping into missions and training. Aida had seen – and felt – the girl's attempt to move a stone. The fact that the stone had not ventured far did not bother the Jedi Master, not at all, in fact.

“It takes practice,” She said, her gaze shifting towards the stone. It was faint, but she could still feel the energy left behind by Sigyn's touch through the force. “Try as it might, do not let the doubt creep into your mind. Take a deep breath, close your eyes... and try again.”

Aida offered a small, appreciative nod to [member="Elwyn Fasdan"]. It was nice of the other woman to offer assistance to Sigyn. Working together always made things easier – teamwork was quite prized among their kind.

Nearby, she spotted [member="Ashelia"] honing her focus. It seemed that she had a plan. Aida resumed her place near the head of the group, doing her best to stay out of the way of the stones that moved through the air. It took quite a lot of effort and concentration, but it seemed that Ashelia was doing well. She had an aptitude for this kind of work. Her mantra was a nice touch, such spoken words could increase concentration quite well. But, had she pushed herself too far?

Aida's brow furrowed with concern. Approaching, she reached out with the force to offer the young woman a small burst of revitalization. It would refresh her mind and give back some of the energy she'd just expended. "Are you alright?" She asked, softly.

The diminutive Initiate reemerged into the consciousness with a deep intake of air and a sharp gasp. A haze of light flooded her vision, but it quickly cleared as her colorful eyes adjusted to the light of the Chalactan desert. When Ashelia looked up, she saw the furrowed brow of the statuesque Master in front of her. Though the white fabric of her dress was still stained with blood, she felt energetic and...strangely rejuvenated. She immediately sprang up to her feet and stared into the wise blue eyes of the Master with marked confusion across her tan-skinned features. Although she could only execute a few of them, Ashelia was deeply aware of the hundreds of abilities one could manifest through the Force. After all, she had spent many long nights studying and fruitlessly attempting to manifest them herself before she was granted Force-sensitivity at the Monolith with Noriko and Sukai. As such, it only took a few seconds for Ashelia to realize that she had been revitalized not through technological means, but through the Force itself.

“Master, can you teach me how to do that? I feel revitalized!” Ashelia spoke quickly as the realization dawned on her. “Also, did I-” Ashelia shifted her gaze to the rocks strewn about on the ground. “Oh.” It only took one look at the fallen boulders for the Initiate to realize that she had passed out in her attempt to create a circular formation. A frown came over her features, but with her newfound energy, Ashelia felt confident enough to try again. “I’ll try again.” She spoke more to herself than to the Master. “Just a semicircle this time, but I can work up to a full circle later.” Ashelia softly reminded herself. What she accomplished and learned during the brief lesson with Master Aquila would not represent the full potential of her abilities. She would grow stronger, though it would take time and continued dedication in order to reach her full potential.

With a deep breath, Ashelia focused her energies on the stones which were strewn about on the ground and lifted two of them within the air. Even as she directed the Force outward in order to rebuild the structure, Ashelia envisioned within her mind the day that she would be able to simultaneously lift all seven of the Muntuur stones...

The words of master [member="Aida Aquila"] were comforting. It was a relief to know that she didn't think any less of Sigyn after she had seen the failiure. Sigyn looked at Aida, smiled and gave a small nod. She was a master, after all, so she should know how best to do it.

"Well, if you want to work With me, sure," Sigyn answered [member="Elwyn Fasdan"] on her request to work together. "But I'm not sure how much help I can be." She gave a dry laugh, to ease up a bit. But before she wanted to begin contructing, she wanted to try levitating a rock once more. She closed her eyes. Okay, deep breath, she thought. Do not doubt. There is no emotion, there is Peace." She reached out, imagined the rock in her head. She could see it, feel it, more Clear now. Then, she saw it float in her head.

But what about when she opened her eyes, would the real rock be floating? No, do not doubt. There is no chaos, there is harmony. After a short moment, she opened her eyes slightly. It was floating. To her surprise, it was really floating. Happiness flowed through her, and this distraction made the floating rock shake unsteadily. She let it fall to the ground, not wanting to exhaust herself before buildign the construct.

She turned back to Elwyn, and sat Down beside her. "So, what structure should we make?" she asked. The happiness was Clear in her voice. This was the first tiem she had been able to use the force so clearly. Earlier, she had only been able to use it to sense where there were danger or People, or to ease the pain someone felt. But this was different. This Power could be clearly seen. "I don't think we've met before. I'm Sigyn Vanir."

It was interesting observing. It always had been for Thol. But especially so when seeing other individual's development progressions.

It took me years to be able to do what I can now, The Kiffar thought as he smiled at Master Aquila. Might have taken longer without such a good teacher.

Mostly content to watch, Thol grew concerned when one learner (Ashelia) pushed too hard and threatened to black out. The swaying and droplets of blood were a clear sign of exhaustion, to which the Kiffar stepped away from the pillar and started to make his way over - but saw that the Jedi Master was quicker to react, handling the situation. Thol was relieved. And standing there, midway between the training group and where he had been, the Jedi Knight decided to throw his lot in and take part.

With luck he would inspire the learners to continue training, rather than more negative feelings.

It all took time, patience and practice.

Walking over to the training circle, his Jedi robe dragging in his wake, Thol passed some of the younger learners and nodded in greeting. He stood nearby, looking down at a small cluster of stones, most barely larger than a fist, and considered his options. In the past he had moved light objects, heavy objects, living objects even... but he hadn't really experimented with technical prowess. So it seemed like a good opportunity!

Something simple but elegant, Thol thought to himself. Something... nice.

Reaching out to the Force with a calming breath, Thol closed his eyes and relaxed. His mind eased, his thoughts without worry or concern, as he followed the mental representation of the energy he summoned. Glowing lines passed through everything, like a series of connected tethers, and his minds eye expanded to see beyond what the physical was able; the insects, the grass, the sand, the rocks, the Jedi, other sentients nearby... it was all a calm, shifting mass of connections. Focusing on the pile of stones before him, narrowing his awareness, Thol reached out a hand and began to shift the small objects.

I know exactly what I want to do.

In groups of two and three, the small stones began to float and rotate, spinning casually around the space before the Kiffar. It appeared effortless, but that was only because of the years and years of training Thol had completed. He began stacking the foundation stones, two of them spread about two feet wide, and then proceeded to stack consequent rocks neatly in two piles... and then, holding the stones together and willing them to lean inward, Thol brought the two groups together in the middle, forming a little archway that - when released from his control - balanced against the other and stayed in place.

Thol smiled, looking down at his little construction.

Balanced. Like all things.

Kiran didn't spend a whole lot of time on missions. The young man didn't want to charge into the fray with nothing but a saber sword to wave around at someone. He just wanted to be prepared, by furthering his training with the lightsaber as well as with the force.

Especially with the force.

The Jedi Padawan took a seat and just stared at several of the rocks that were in front of him. Kiran closed his eyes and took a deep breath, and it was here that he loved the most.

Peace....

The forced flowed through and around him. The Padawan could feel the presence of his fellow Jedi, their energies seemingly connected by natural selection. Long had waited for this feeling after his acts on Corellia several years ago. Now that he found that peace, it certainly mended his soul and seemingly repaired his heart. He reached out with his hand slightly as well as with the force and thus the first rock began to move slowly into position.

The Jedi planned on just forming a tower, one rock on top of the other. He would concentrate and focus on the now and hold the rocks in place for as long as he could. Slowly and steadily each one moved over the other when the count got to seven is when his focus began to strain slightly. Just a few more before it would all fall apart, but it was a good start.
