(Strengths)
-On the battlefield Minerva is a determined and ruthless fighter in both firefights and close quarters combat, with a tactical mindset that is improving by age. This comes from her warrior upbringing under the veteran Jorel Merrik.
-She has marksmanship with standard blaster rifles and pistols.
-Has a passion for combat demolition, specifically with small explosives.
(Weaknesses)
-While able to fly small craft and transports, Minerva is no ace pilot. She can try to put a stubborn struggle in a dogfight but a more talented pilot can overwhelm her easily.
-Much to her shame the young warrior is not very good with heavier weapons such as rocket launchers and heavy repeaters due to the recoil and weight.
-Like any other non force using sentient beings she is vulnerable to force attacks(except for mind tricks) without her gear and weapons. In a straight up melee duel with a Jedi or Sith she would fail.
APPEARANCE:
Minerva Fhirdiad stands five feet and six inches tall and weighs one hundred twenty five pounds without the added beskar armor. Both her eyes are brown and her former short hair has grown a bit longer and is black and the skin has a light tan color. Has an obvious scar that lines on the left side of her face and a small faint one on the opposite cheek. Another battle earned cut on the bridge of her nose to the right cheek.
There are additional scars(from shrapnel) on her back and the lower half of the left leg.
BIOGRAPHY:
There was a couple, Garvan and Lena Fhirdiad who worked as interstellar scouts, often operating in Wild Space. In the midst of one of their travels, they saved a Mandalorian mercenary named Jorel Merrik. Indebted by their compassion the latter became their protector for a long time. Called home on family business, Garvan returned to Alderaan, leaving Lena now pregnant in the care of Merrik. However, he was slain by unknown assassins.
Learning the truth soon after Lena was wrecked with grief.
She tried to live on yet died two weeks later in childbirth onboard her ship but not before naming her daughter Minevra. Merrik was now left alone with the child. He took the infant Minevra, adopting her as a founding. While raising her in his view of Mandalorian culture the old veteran noted the girl had an adventurous spirit like her deceased parents and encouraged it.
Eventually Minevra became of age and chose to be a Mandalorian and remained at her father’s side for years to come. Eventually Jorel was fatally wounded during a mercenary operation they were both hired for. Before his death the aging veteran confided his regrets about the fate of Minevra’s parents and his concerns for their people. With his last breath Merrik requested that she burn his body, scatter the ashes on Mandalore and to forge her own path as a warrior.
After joining the Mandalorian Enclave the young warrior was just starting to serve with them. Then however she had a freak accident with her ship’s hyperdrive thrown the young woman ten years into the future. Initially bewildered upon finding out Minerva nevertheless sought out and rejoined the Enclave.
Following the Enclave’s blood soaked summit with the Empire and rendered confused and frustrated by how it happened she wandered for a bit. Then Minerva decided to volunteer with the Galactic Alliance in order to honor her people and avenge the blood spilled by the Maw and the Empire. In the course of her service she choose to stay in the military even with the victory over the Maw at Exegol and the Empire’s collapse. For her efforts Minerva was promoted to sergeant then later lieutenant, commanding a special force unit codenamed Strike Force Talon.
She her team in carrying out missions against Mawite holdouts and assisted in major operations, most notably at the battle of Elom. In recognition of this Minerva was earned the rank of captain and the unit expanded into a whole company. As that was happening she learned of the Enclave’s resurgence and considered returning to the fold despite troubling reports out of Riishi. It was only witnessing the raid against Kashyyyk by Enclave elements and independent clans that faith in her former bethern was shattered. She fought against them, alongside her Wookiee friends before helping some escape off-world.
In the aftermath she rejected the Enclave completely and still serves in the GA military.
