Mini-Event Finale Signups: Deep Black Sea

[Jorus Merrill]

So over the last month, 'The ExGal Hunt' - the Extragalactic Exploration Challenge - has encompassed close to a dozen threads by close to two dozen writers, often people who'd never run into each other before. They've explored the remote, pre-technological worlds of Companion Esk, made enemies, found bizarre treasures -- so far as I can tell, fun has been had. And unlike this finale, those have all been self-directed threads.

The hyperspace explorer Captain Jorus Merrill -- former Rebel, formerly and maybe currently a wanted man, co-creator of the Mara Corridor, former member of the Jedi Council, believed dead at the Second Battle of Empress Teta, highly decorated Omega Protectorate reservist -- is launching an extragalactic expedition. He means to make his way through Wild Space and cross Companion Esk, but his goals are, as of now, unknown. All you really know is that he'll pay very well, and you'll get to see things nobody's ever seen before.

This mini-event finale will take place in and around a single starship, the former Rebel Alliance flagship Absolution. If you're interested, please use this short form, and I'll assign you your berths based on experience, references, and special skills. If you're starting to get a Battlestar/Trek/SW: MedStar vibe off this, well, good.
