Mining seltros

Sabrina had found out the was new vain of ore on seltros, she had also heard that a hutt was after some for the new armour. She had brought the rights to the mineral wealth, at a discount due to fact she used mind trick. She was setting up the mine head, ready to begin gathering the ore. She had sent gone to the open market, to get more droids to operate the mine as well. She waited in her office to discuss the deal, and see how much of the ore he wanted. As well as see if she had any other customers, as she needed to make good profit out of this mine.

Cadan was in his Kossak Class Destroyer. When he had gotten notification that he would be helping with the mining of phrik. He had already prepared two shuttles, one was to carry himself and a few guards, and the other was to carry slaves to mine, although he thought it best to ask the one in charge, [member="sabrina"], if they would need slaves. He knew that most people were against slavery, and if she didn't want to use the slaves, well then he could send them back to use on his spice mines.

Cadan's shuttle began to descend onto the planets surface. Before it was directed to the docking bays. Soon he made his way to the office where Sabrina was waiting for him. His knuckles tapped lightly on the door, as he waited to enter. He may be a pirate, but he knew how to be diplomatic, to a point.

She had just brought five hundred droids, from [member="Captain Larraq"] to help mine the new vine. She did not use slaves as they where less reliable than droids, also they did not work as hard. This was for no moral reason, just practical ones like a slave need food and place to sleep. Droids just need a recharge and memory wipe every so often, and could work a round the clock otherwise. Slaves had there uses, but in mines droids where best. As they did not need life support systems, nor did they need light. They could be repaired if the was cave in, and the was none that moaning nonsense. Also no security risks, if some one decide to liberate the slaves.

She welcomed her guest to her new mine, by offering him a drink. May I ask what drink you would like, and please take a seat whilst we discuss price. Phrik was an expensive commodity, and she wanted to make the most out of this little venture.

Cadan enter and had a quick look around. "Whiskey if ya got it." His voice husky and deep. As Cadan went to sit down he pulled two cigars from his top pocket and offered one to Sabrina. If she were to take it, he would light his up and smoke, if not then he would put them both away.

Cadan then moved to a seat and produce a small bag, it carried spice from his mines on Kessel. "A gift for you." He said as he handed the bag to her. "And yes price. 'Ow much credits are you looking for." Cadan knew that from his own pockets he could supply this venture, and if needed he could also borrow some of Sempra, but he doubted he would need to.

That would depend on how much you wanted, at what level of refinement. As if you just want it in raw form, then obviously it would be much cheaper. If you want me to refine it for you, then it would be much more expensive. She took a sip of her tea as she waited for the hutts man to decide on what he wants, as she did she waited for the droids began making the mine head. He was only the first of her customers, hopefully a few more would come as well. As the more who came, the more money she would make from her venture.

Cadan considered this heavily, he knew that he could get Mongo to refine his ore, but would it be cheaper? And if he used Sabrina, he wouldn't have to go to all the trouble of taking the ore from one place to the next. " 'Ow much is it for fully refined ore per tone?"

Now Cadan would only need a small supply of phrik for what he had in mind, but it was always good to keep some just in case he needed a little more.

She started tapping figure into her data pad, cost and labour and everything else she would have to pay out. She then also calculated the cost of just mining it, she then added the two together. she then said Here are the two prices, both broken down for you includes our profit margin. As you can see there is significant difference in price. Though you are guaranteed to get the amount you want, and less waste if you let us process it for you. Then after speaking she took a sip of water, as for some reason she was thirsty today. Possibly all that work she did, with mind tricks to get the vain on the the cheap.

Cadan nodded as he looked over the prices, from the looks of it he could afford to get the ores refined here. He continued his slight nod. "I think I will gets it refined and mined 'ere." Cadan then began to think of the amount he would need. He wouldn't need to much, but he liked the idea of having more. " 'Ow about I get one tonne of phrik all refined?" The pirate licked his lips as he looked about the place. The thought of the armor he wanted to make already coming to life in his mind.

"Also, 'ow long will it take?" Cadan asked. He didn't need it anytime soon, but it was always nice to know how long it would take. It would give him a rough idea of how long he would have to make his blueprints.

She smiled at him, as he said he wanted a ton of it. Even if she does not get another customer, it would help cover some of her costs. She then leaned forward and gave him the data pad so he could pay, As you can see the mine is just begun operating, and refinement should not take too long. She would be able to get him with in a week, then he could do what he wants with it.

She did a quick check on her mine as it was going well, she would soon be pulling out a the first load of ore.

Cadan filled in the details and soon the credits were transfer, a smile crossed over the pirates face. It seemed all he was doing now was work, and with this done it meant there was one less job for him.

Cadan nodded as he looked to the mine, it was in operating alot better than his spice mine. "It look's good." The pirate said as he examined the mine. "If I am in need of more phrik, I can order more for you aye?" Cadan asked as he looked down across the mines still. There was something calming about the metalic crush of rock against metal. Or was something wrong with Cadan? "And will I 'ave to pick it up?" Whether he had to pick it up didn't bother him, he could always just send some pirates to do it for him.

Yes if you need more we can get more for you, but after this week we will need notice. As ​I do hope to have other clients for the ore, and as sure you will appreciate it will be done on first come first served bases. She then heard ask about pick up, she quickly smiled No I drop of with [member="Sempra the Hutt"] for you happily. This was a double edge question, as the hutts are known to take part things for them selves. She was wondering how trust there was between them.

This seemed like a pretty good deal for Cadan. "Sounds like we got ourselves a deal." The pirates right hand shot out for a handshake to seal the deal. Since Cadan was making weapons and armour for Sempra, he was sure that he wouldn't take any of the valuable ore from him.

"Is that everything I need to know?" Now the Cadan thought about it, it was too late to change his mind, he had already confirmed the deal. But it was best to ask anyway.

​Nothing else you need to know, it will be delivered as soon as possible. She smiled at him, as she ready herself for his departure and her next client.

Cadan took the hint and began to leave. "Good doing business with you." The pirate spoke as he left to room. It had been a succesful deal he thought to himself.

She smiled as he left, as she did she summoned her apprentice Lord [member="Zrixtas"]. Lord Zrixtas come in, we need to make you a knew body. He was going to have droid body made out of phrik, this would make him more powerful. He would be able to withstand a massive amount of impact, unlike her and mandalorains. He would not have to worry about the fleshy bit's beneath the armour, she had her armour survive blows that broken her body beneath it before know. He would have no such issue, with his knew body. The rest she would sell at auction, as to make sure she covered her cost for this mining operation.

 

[Lord Zrixtas]

Zrixtas entered the room after he had been meditating in one corner, making him look more like a piece of abstract art than who he really was. "Master, you called." He said in a slow and calm tone like he usually spoke in as he walked towards [member="Sabrina Kotass"] and stood straight with his hands behind his back in front of her desk. He had seen the man she had been dealing with and even though he was unsavory to him, he realized he was a necessary component in his masters agenda.

[member="Lord Zrixtas"] I need your measurements, so I can make you a some knew armour. One that can withstand a lightsaber strike, and it worthy of your new station. She need to work out how much phrik she would need to make his armour, the rest she would sell at auction to pay mining operation. She took a sip water, and waited for him to list his measurements. As well as every thing else, so she could make sure he had the right amount available to him. As she waited she took drink of water, as the air due to mining was dusty to say the least.

Zrixtas took out a datapad and began dotting down his measurements and then placed them down on the table in front of [member="Sabrina Kotass"] before he gestured towards her glass of water. "Master, given that I don't really have the ability to taste how is to drink water exactly?" He said as his curiosity got the best of him. He had always wondered about that with organics and their foodstuffs, since he couldn't taste or smell anything, he had to wonder what it was like.

[member="Lord Zrixtas"] I would say it was refreshing, especially with dust in the air. I was curious question, though it did leave hers unanswered. How much phrik does she need, to make his new armour. As she waited for him to tell he the amount she needed, for the task in hand. She had an alert, the mine shaft was complete. The ore was going to brought up soon, and then the processing of it could begin.

"The Phrik you will need is around this much for an armor." He then said as he slid the datapad towards her with his measurements added into it. "That is unless you are thinking a new body instead of armor which would require quite a bit of phrick Master." He then said to [member="Sabrina Kotass"] as he began to go over the design he had been making for another body he was planing to make, one a better and tougher while he was alos working on a more stealthier version of his body for covert operations, phrick would come in handy with both designs to allow for more survivability.
