Minor Faction Interest/Discussion Thread (Sith/Darksideers)

Hello all, it has been a while. Life got busy for me and I hit a wall with Hiss Hiss, so I vanished for a bit to get stuff straightened out. But I got myself settled, I've rebooted Hiss Hiss' profile (still working on her long donkey years bio) and I have a new pet project I'd like to explore with you Sith types and Darksiders. The One Sith is indeed a great faction and I encourage most Sith hopeful to explore it. But, seeing that there a...spiritual gap... in foundations for the Sith as a result this lead to the formation of this pet project. Of course any Sith can come and join this little project it is a sanctuary you can be both.

A home and secret sanctuary for all Sith and Darksiders, when they need guidance, or training, or a place to recuperate, on the other hand a home for those darksiders who have been cast of their homes due to their beliefs. Now ICly I shall do everything to make sure this sanctuary is a secret. But hopefully OCly we can work to make sure this little plot thread continues. In summary, consider it the Sith Vatican, a spiritual sanctuary were ambitious Sith acolytes, knights and even masters can from time to time visit and train, meditate, re-center themselves with the dark side of the force.

For now I am considering making the home of this Minor Faction beneath the surface of the rubble of Mytus VII (because its symbolic and close to the ancient Sith Home worlds and being the base of a defunct SIth Faction I find it most appropriate for the rebirth themes, if anyone has a better idea please feel free to PM Your ideas).

HOMEWORLD: Mytus VII, hidden beneath the surface in a large catacomb systems​

POLITICAL STRUCTURE: Religious Cult​

RELIGION: Sith Covenant​

LEADER: Dark Mother (Val'Ryss Zankarr)​

PURPOSE: Religious Sanctuary and Secret Academy for Sith and Darksiders​

GOAL: To recover Sith teachings through artefacts, holocrons and records, and to preserve the Sith Religious presence in the Galaxy​

VISITING THE BROTHERHOOD​

Any Dark Sider can visit the brotherhood. However, the method of contacting them is key. One can only visit the Brotherhood at their home base on Mytus VII if a member of the Brotherhood allows it. And even then there are restrictions and codes to follow. On the other hand if one wishes to get into contact with the Brotherhood, they may do so. The each member of the Brotherhood holds within him and her a sigil to be displayed during contact.The Sigil is a cursed coin that lets members sense other members. The image above is the image burnt into the coin. Find the sigil or be allowed to us it and you may speak to the Brotherhood.​

BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE BROTHERHOOD​

This is a grave and serious matter. To join the Brotherhood as one of the indoctrinated is to swear undying allegiance to the Sith Covenant. Any Darksider can enter this process, however, entering is one thing, passing the initiation is another.​

INITIATION RITUAL​

Upon deciding to join the Brotherhood as a member the prospective member must pass rituals to do so, to become one of the Brotherhood.​

1.Judgement​

Those who wish to join are then judged by the Dark Mother. If the Dark Mother sees you to be fit you shall move on. If not you shall be tortured until the entire concept of the Brotherhood will be tortured from your memory. Please choose wisely.​

2.Marking Ceremony​

The Marking Ceremony is a ceremony that permanently marks you as one of the Brotherhood. In this ceremony the Sith scorpions once used to tattoo the foreheads of the Sith Lords shall be placed onto your body (a place of your choice) and with its venom you shall be marked as one of the Brotherhood. The venom carries a powerful connection to the darkside, it is very painful and dangerous. But if you survive you are worthy to join.​

ORGANIZATION​

The Sith Brotherhood is broken up into two sections: The Council of Dark Sages (or the Dark Council) and the various Sith Chapters.​

​

COUNCIL OF DARK SAGES​

The Dark Council is headed by the Dark Mother and her most trusted advisers (Dark Sage). Within the Council are Inquisition Chapters. The Inquisition Chapters are those who enforce the words of the Dark Mother and are sent to hunt out Heretics, Jedi and anyone else who betrays or threatens the Brotherhood. Within the Inquisition are Tormentors (head of Inquisition Chapters) ​

SITH CHAPTERS​

The Sith Chapters are various groups that are sent across the galaxy to do the bidding of the Dark Mother, whether this be to assist the One Sith, or some other faction, or recover Sith Artefacts or sack a Jedi Enclave etc. Those who initially join the Brotherhood are sorted into a Chapter which are lead by Zealots, the highest rank within the Sith Brotherhood, besides a Dark Sage. ​

SPECIAL NOTE:​

Those that become Zealots, Tormentors, Dark Sages or join the higher ranks of the Brotherhood undergo another ritual, where in which they are bathed in a dark alchemy liquid that stains there skin red (much like in Legacy Comics) after which they are covered in tattoos which symbolize their eternal commitment to the tenants of the Sith Covenant, as the tattoos are psalms of the covenant written in the ancient Sith Language.​

Just a note.

This is a fantastic idea and to anyone in the One Sith that wants to double time with this, thats fine. As long as your allegiance above all retains to the faction, and the Dark Lord, there is no problem with what "type" of Sith you become, if that makes sense.

In fact if you wish it, we'd be willing to host this as a minor faction in the One Sith.
