While perhaps best known as the starship-of-choice for various corporate executives, Golden Order Masters, and posh aristocrats, these vessels are equally well-suited for Galactic Alliance Senators and other interstellar politicians - what better way to visit one's constituents that in a huge yacht able to house dozens of aides, bodyguards, and lobbyists? Assuming, of course, that one doesn't have a reputation of being (ugh) relatable.
It has been said that some crime lords flaunt their ill-gotten wealth with such vessels. This is drivel, of course - they are all 'entrepreneurs'.
