BIOGRAPHY:
She was the last born of the Shorn family and still unknown to her the cause of their mother's passing. She was told in her earlier days before her family grew apart that her face deeply honored their mother. She was raised as a noble but was constantly pushed to be her father's image of the perfect lady not knowing that she was being raised to be married off.
As such she excelled in school and often took on extra lessons with tutors to avoid more time spent with their father Casperli Shorn. To her he had always been a proud man who wanted more glory and honor brought to the family name. And as such the happiness of his kids were always put on the back burner, and while he was just as strict on Miri as the other Shorn's she knew she held one ace up her sleeve.
Casperli Shorn would never dare lay a hand on her out of fear on messing her up so she would not get picked for marriage. She was introduced to many suitors of higher name upon their homeworld. A few even coming from their family friend's of the House Melantha, luckily for the early part of her life she was not given to anyone. Her education having bought her time as she quickly rose to be recognized as a Scholar on their homeworld.
Still knowing that this would not distract her father for long, she began using their limited affluence to find some trace of her brothers. They both having ended up working for the Empire around this time. Though, as if sensing her thoughts her father began to reign her in as if she was a dog on a leash by not allowing her to move to far from their residence without him. She found this because she had received an offer from a prince that would elevate her family to the highest level of royalty.
Miri was forced to dress as a peasant as her father barely paid attention to their peasant workers and she stole one of their families' ships in hopes of finding one of her three brothers.
