Private Mission: Naria Prime, Iona Starchaser, and Balun Dashiell

The Sith Empire was unlikely to be paying attention of any kind to Denab.

At least, that was Master Farr's gamble. With Galactic Alliance forces attacking not one but three nearby star systems—Sluis Van, Echnos, and Dorvalla—she was counting on being able to slip one more behind enemy lines without notice or resistance. This one was not a full invasion force, but a small crew on an impounded Imperial craft. One of the Jedi archeologists that worked with Master Farr had come to supervise the other two Jedi and archeologist that she had selected for this mission. He was a Chiss who went by core name Sodus.

As their shared ship still shuddered lightly in hyperspace, he gathered everyone in the lounge area.

"Thank you all again for your presence today," he began. "Master Farr believes that it is imperative that we find the Denab Rakatan device, secure it, and whisk it out of Sith territory. I agree. In the wrong hands, a device with its ability to automate evolution's natural course and generate completely unique species on command could be weaponized and used to overpower the most equipped army.

"Reports are that the device has been malfunctioning almost nonstop since the Cold War by generating species out of control. Perhaps then it has been little more than an annoyance to the Sith, but equally possible is that they have or are working on finding a way to regulate the device. In either case, we must bring it back to Field Camp Nu."

Naria leaned back in her seat and picked flaking polish off her thumb. This job had seemed a lot less risky in the debriefing she had received. She kept her minor displeasure from crinkling her eyebrows-- they always betrayed her emotions-- and reminded herself that she had already signed on.

It was bad for business to be seen backing out.

"It'll be no problem." As long as the jedi do their job... "Energy like that lets out signal." A square device in her lap let out a searching whirl. "We'll pick it up as soon as we hit the surface. You get me in, I'll get it out," she promised, earnest and confident.

"I'm Naria, by the way," she said to the other two. Iona Starchaser Iona Starchaser Balun Dashiell Balun Dashiell
