Description: The mark B is a cheep yet effective blast vest designed to stop most small to mid-range arms fire while protecting vital organs. The main body is composed of flex-armor and will stop blasters, slugthrowers, and blades. Durasteel strike plates provide extra protection and spread the impact of ballistic projectiles, three in the front, two on the sides, and the sixth over the spine. Extra equipment and pouches can be attached to the armor backed belt where straps help disperse the weight to the wearer's shoulders. These straps will also support a hydration pack or backpack and that's as modular as the Mark-B gets.
As good at it is at stopping arms fire, the Mark-B has one flaw, it's a vest and it leaves the extremities completely exposed. As such, its unsuited for heavy combat but works well when comfort or mobility are more of a priority as well as extended wear making it a top choice for bounty hunters just starting out, police, militia, guards, and others that require every day protection in addition to those seeking to equip a large number of people on a budget.
