SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Compatible with turbothrust, turbojet, and repulsorlift engines.
STRENGTHS
  • Muffled: Installation of the MK II Kashiro significantly decreases the sound of engines, lowering them from a loud roar to a soft purr. Excellent for dense urban areas where noise pollution is a concern. Also helps make a vehicle with highly upgraded engines stand out less compared to other vehicles.
WEAKNESSES
  • Not silenced: Although this package reduces the vehicle's visibility, it can still be heard, especially in quiet environments. The MK II Kashiro is not a substitute for a "silent-running" stealth system.
DESCRIPTION

A design from Adumar Advanced Starcraft Design and Repair, the Mk II Kashiro Engine Sound Baffles Package is designed to reduce, but not eliminate, the pesky noise problems of ground and atmospheric vehicles. A system of durasteel pipes, angled alusteel plates, and synthwool helps control the flow of air intakes and outtakes of all manner of engines and thrusters, reducing the noise they cause. Originally designed for an airspeeder that was in a conceptual phase, when that particular vehicle didn't enter production, the Mk II Kashiro slowly found its way onto other A.A.S.D.R. products, and was also made available as an upgrade at their repair shop.
