The Mark I armor is great and does its job to no end, but there are times when it is just not enough and the Mark II needed to come about. The Blaster Vambrace is meant to act as a shotgun and provide breaching entry points to most doors or stopping power. A retired design was requested by Alazar to be improved upon. This does not make significant battle improvements but works well in extreme emergency situations.
