A product of Adumar Advanced Starcraft Design and Repair
SPECIAL FEATURES
The Mk 1 Borrasca was originally custom designed by Adumar Advanced Starcraft Design and Repair for private application in the vessels of the local planetary security force but was rejected in favor of another option from a different company. Undeterred, A.A.S.D.R. has reworked the design several times, and now offers the current incarnation as an upgrade option for its repair shop clientele. It's also been included on one or two of A.A.S.D.R.s own starship lines as a stock option.

- Long Range: The MK IV Borrasca is intended to scan for oddities and intrusions in large swaths of space. It has a much greater range than most sensor suites.
- High quality: The data pulled in by the MK IV Borrasca is of higher quality than standard sensor suites, due to the collection of included sensors and scanners being top of the line models hand-picked by Adumar Advanced Starcraft Design and Repair for their quality.
- Dedicated Personnel: The cost of the increased variety, size, and quality of the data brought in is that it requires its own dedicated terminal and crew member to process it all effectively. A pilot could not fly a ship and manage these systems at the same time. As such, you will never see these installed on single crew vessels.
- Difficult to maintain: No expense was spared in the creation of this sensor suite, and that means that if an individual sensor or scanner is damaged, you're paying a hefty sum to get it back in working order.
- Interference: If any one portion of the suite is damaged, it's been noted that the generated garbage data has a tendency to interfere with the accuracy and processing speed of other sensor systems within it.
