Stealth Features: The MK-X series armor features a passive sensor dampening, reducing an individual's sensor signature. It is able to conceal a passive soldier in the field who is not participating in combat, using active sensors, or making heavy use of equipment (such as a maneuvering pack) from most standard sensors found on enemy troops using a combination of sensor blocking and sound dampening technology.
In active combat, this is not so noticeable, as energy bursts from weapons, use of sensors, comlinks, and the like are all mitigating factors, nor does it allow large groups to march unseen.
The MK-X shifts its color from “Parade White” to a color shifting camouflage that changes to match the terrain in a camouflage pattern, making it harder to see in the field.
Medical Systems: Biorestorative Underlay, Injection ports on the leg and arm, and a small field kit provide the MK-X’s wearer with a significant degree of survivability, aiding in preventing a soldier’s death when they are inevitably wounded in combat.
Beyond these, the armor features comparable technology to other similar line models produced by other governments in the galaxy up to galactic standard and codes in terms of software, uses, and durability.

DESCRIPTION
The MK-X was redesigned for modern operators featuring a myriad of alterations while maintaining the classical Stormtrooper aesthetics. First and foremost was a heavy reduction of electronic dependence in the armor system, intended to operate in any environment with limited modular attachments required for any specific theater. The suit is designed with a mildly photoreactive fiber and filament which allows the suit to change color, programed with a standard classical Parade White and with the much more practical digital camouflage pattern that shifts color over time to match the terrain the Stormtrooper found themselves in. The entire kit is also sensor dampened to decrease the wearer’s sensor signature, though its not considered fully stealth capable.
The helmet has been altered, maintaining the intimidating expressionless outer design while interior is largely transparent around the face, allowing the wearer full visibility even if electronics are disabled. The helmet features an integrated comlink, annunciator, particle filter, polarized lenses, and some target assist equipment, however as many of the additional electronics have been removed to reduce the system’s weight.
A Padded, puncture resistant, energy dispersant Bodyglove makes up the base layer of the MK-X, like most versions that predated it. Few modifications have been made to the bodyglove as even older versions were insulated so that they are able to withstand extreme environmental temperatures, chemicals, some radiation, were airtight and able to withstand explosive decompression. The glove is able to reseal itself and be used as a compression bandage in an emergency situation.
Eighteen lightweight and flexible Ceramisteel-Ciridium plates make up the protective body armor, built to military standard. The two piece, scalloped and segmented chestplates were built to allow for full range of motion with a codpiece and rear plate to protect the lower part of the torso, two spalders, rerebraces, vambraces, and hand plates with reinforced joint connections to protect the hand, elbow, and shoulder from hyperextension cover the arms, two thighplates, greaves with segmented kneeplates, and sabatons defend the legs. The chestplate is obviously the heaviest and most well defended part of the suit with a Alusteel reinforced cuirass. On the left inner forearm and outer right thigh there are injection ports for needleless syringes to inject bacta, emergency antidotes, or stimulants without needing to remove the armor.
One of the key features is a Duraplast-Kevlar Weave Load-bearing Frame designed to spread the weight of the standard pack and the weight of the armor across the body, reduce stress on the joints and limbs, and help protect the joints from hyperextension. Ergonomically fit and with flexible joints, the frame does not limit the wearer’s mobility or flexibility. While not powered or enhanced with servos, the lightweight frame does allow the soldier to effectively carry and lift much more weight and decreases injury and strain on the body caused by over encumbrance.
Modular Attachments
Many of the features found standard on traditional Stormtrooper Armor are instead produced as attachments in order to allow the standard suit to be non-electronic and cut down unnecessary weight. Small forearm mounts for weapons, tactical datapads with Graph 18 Surface Locators, forearm shield gauntlets for the arms, electrobinoculars, visual systems, and targeting equipment on a visor which can be worn with or without the helmet with infrared, night vision, and combat sensors as well as a HUD. As standard Stormtroopers wear a lightweight microthruster maneuvering pack which allows for such maneuvers as double jumping, increased lateral and vertical jumps up to about thirteen and four meters respectively, wallrunning, scaling sheer surfaces, propelled slides, and deceleration during falls to safe velocities.
Mission specific attachments include oxygen tanks for missions that require them rather than heavy built-in tanks, swimming fins and a larger repulsor for aquatic missions, radiation deflection badges for highly irradiated areas, thermal insulating oversuit for volcanic and arctic deployments, and a heavy duty set of attachments for Zero-G operations which would include heavier weapons mounts, oxygen supply and scrubber, a personal energy shield, and space-capable rocketpack instead of normal maneuvering gear. There also exists a general purpose carry/lift attachment for non-combat related loadlifting and utility.

Strengths:
- Minor Stealth: The armor features visual stealth in the form of terrain-matching camouflage patterns and sensor/sound dampening materials to reduce the overall sensor signature of the wearer.
- Non-Electronic: The suit is designed to function without the use of electronic equipment, rather than attempting to bolster its Ion and EMP resistance, the vast majority of electronics were stripped out from it and instead its wearers use a variety of attachments so that disabled systems could be discarded easily.
- Mitigating Factors: Active combat, use of comlinks, sensors and auspex arrays mitigate the stealth the suit provides. It is not meant to be an infiltration suit, but to reduce the likelihood a group is detected while actively attempting to hide.
