Strengths:

• Twin-Blast: The Kobald Drone is equipped with two twin shock cannons that are capable of accurate fire against targets.
• Strong Shields: It's shields are powerful, yet take up a lot of energy. They are capable of soaking up enemy fire to hold out in dogfights.

Weaknesses:

• Low Maneuverability: With the length of the wings, and the weight of the twin-blast cannons, the Kobald has slow maneuvering speed. Being in dogfights, the drone would be unable to out maneuver any pilot.
• Bright Targets: On the rear of the Kobald Drone are heatsinks for it's high shielding and blasters. These however are quite vulnerable to fire, and if the heatsinks are damaged the drone could take heavy damage.

Description: The Kobald Drone, designed by Meran Mechanics as a defense drone. It is armed with twin-shock cannons and two missile pods that fire cluster missiles. It was designed to defend small stations, with a basic AI computer that is capable of basic maneuvers. It has strong defense, but is not as fast or maneuverable as most. It has a small range sensor scrambler, useful to lose chasing fighters.
