The MM-CC Infantry Kit is a joint project by Morris Munitions designers and Commonwealth military administration to produce a standard infantry kit for their Marine Corps. The armor itself is relatively basic in design, with minimal protection comparative to standard galactic armies.
The armor is based on plates rather than a fully body suit, thus making it unsuitable for certain environments. It comes with a kit of items for long campaigns, packaged in a heavy duty wooden crate. The crate includes the kit listed previously, as well as the armor which is comprised of boots, knee-pads, thigh-guards, upper-chest plate, shoulder guards, elbow pads, forearm guards, armored gloves and a helmet.
Due to the disjointed nature of the armor, flexibility is at peak maximum at the cost of many openings in the armor. While the armor itself is lightweight, once the kit has been attached the armor is weighed down heavily, requiring training with a full kit in preparation for field use. The armor alone weighs eight kilograms while the full kit attached totals the weight to roughly twenty-three kilograms.
