Strengths:
- Power; As is the trademark of all Commonwealth slugthrowers, the MM101 can pack a punch, proving to be lethal in short-to-medium range engagements.
- Inaccuracy; When fired at full-auto the rifle becomes grossly inaccurate and its effective range is drastically reduced by half. This proves to be a poor weapon for long-range engagements.
- Ammunition; Due to the high rate of fire as well as a relatively small clip as opposed to blasters, the MM101 requires frequent reloading and a plentiful supply of ammunition. As always, blasters trump slugthrowers in ammunition efficiency.
Much like the 100, the 101 is designed for long-term use in a variety of environments and situations, making it a perfectly handy companion on long campaigns and treacherous missions. It is easy to disassemble and clean. Maintenance is straight to the point and even the thickest of jarheads can wrap their head around patching up the 101.
The 101 is excellent at slogging down OpFor infantry and provides great service in suppression and covering fire. The 101 is a standard issue assault rifle for the Commonwealth Marine Corps, and like the trademark of the MM series of Commonwealth slugthrowers, it can be quite lethal in combat.
Unfortunately the downside is ammunition. Soldiers burn through ammunition much faster with the high rate of fire on the 101 and thus carry more ammunition, slowing down long treks and marches along campaigns. Like all MM weapons it becomes a key factor to learn to balance how much ammunition you will need on the battle. Either get stranded without a bullet or get fatigued far easier by the heavy ammo pouches you'll be lugging about.
