- Power; The MM99 is capable of inflicting intense damage on enemies targets, with .500 semi-armour-piercing rounds / high-explosive, the MM99 is a reliable last ditch effort.
- Range; The MM99 has a short barrel and poor effective range, it is best used in close-quarters combat where the weapon will prove its most effective.
- Recoil; The MM99 gives a lot of firepower but comes with a lot of kick. You need a strong arm and a lot of practice if someone plans on using this regularly to any degree of skill.
The MM99 is a basic high-output handgun for the Commonwealth military. Primarily reserved for officers, this handgun is not frequently seen by the common rabble of the Commonwealth Marine Corps. As such it is placed under minor production by Morris Munitions and is commissioned to officers in the Commonwealth, with only a handful commissioned for SpecOps.
The MM99 is the first in a series of handguns to be developed by Morris Munitions under contract by the Commonwealth. While other models of the MM99 will be seen among common troops, they will be much smaller with less kick and punch.
