Description: Recognizing that the Sith Order has defensive needs, as well as advanced scouting needs, and that the Reformation retains the same needs, Ignus Industries has designed a mobile platform intent on gathering intelligence remotely, or to serve as early warning for impending attacks. From this desire, the Mobile Intelligence Gatherer, or MIG, was born. Designed to be manned by two individuals, it was determined that the craft should be as small as possible while still maintaining its capability for detecting necessary data. Three arms were designed, each housing receptors and transceivers, for the survey of surrounding systems, or as picket warning ships. When in flight, the three arms fold back, making the ship look like some form of torpedo gliding through space. When deployed, the wings extend around the central core, and rotate around it. It is protected by heavy armor because it lacks major offensive capabilities, only possessing a pair of OPDL's for defense. Additionally, due to a lack of space, a lower class hyperdrive was installed. This was also done to offset the cost of the sensors and communications equipment. Ultimately the ship is capable of being deployed as an advance recon unit for long range intelligence gathering, or as a defensive measure to monitor hyperlanes and incoming traffic.
