Description:
The Mobquet Medium Transport is an updated design of a classic transport ship which is slow, but has been updated to feature a more reinforced hull and extra cargo space. There are still three modular nodes but with a sleeker design. These nodes can be modified to fit the needs of the owner. Crew quarters, defensive weapons and storage is in the front node as well as two boarding ramps - one for personnel and an extra-wide ramp for cargo. Speeder racks and the escape pods are in the second node, and computer units are in the third. There is a small boarding ramp in the third node.
From a control panel on the bridge of the ship, each node can be sealed off from one another to protect from breaches in the hull, pirates, or in the unfortunate circumstance that a passenger or prisoner needs to be kept away from the rest of the crew. Another difference between the newer model Mobquet is that its hull is made of ferroceramic and Reinforced Durasteel panels which provide a better defense against piracy and other space hazards.
