ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • X-02 'Apollo' Class Artificial Super Intelligence - Codename: Typhojem
    • To compensate for the unprecedented scale of the ship, highly optimized command and logistic structures needed to be put in place to keep the ship working at even a basic functioning level let alone military grade response levels. For this purpose the X-02 was implemented into the 'Mors Mon' , given the codename Typhojem as a representation for its connection to the god of the Sith. It has a male personality and represents itself as a Sith Lord with a mask - it is able to provide itself as both a personal assistant for the members of the ship and also a logistical overlord that keeps everything running perfect.
  • X-03b 'Tempestarii' Class Storm Generators
    • Serving as the flagship of any fleet it is apart of, the 'Mors Mon' carries with it the largest and most advanced storm generators of any Sith vessel. This allows the ship to create vast storms that shroud the approaching fleet in sensor dampening material and anti-ship lightning storms. This allows it to close the distance to any engagement without sacrificing its fleet composition.
  • X-04 'Theia' Class Sensor System
    • With the backing of the X-02, the ship has the additional support of the X-04 'Theia' - allowing it to breach most forms of stealth ships and identify even the slightest discrepancy in a wide range around it. This helps prevent it from being sneaked upon, and offers better strategic data when confronting other fleets and planets.
  • X-05 'Nihil' Class Path Engine
    • Carrying a 'Hermes' hyperdrive system, there is nothing to be wanted for the traversal system of the 'Mors Mon' - however, given its excessively overbuilt schematics it has been built with the X-05 addition. This allows it to not only create hyper specific paths across the galaxy, but store and share these paths with their entire fleet to allow such immediate transitions as to stun even the most prepared enemy positions.
    X-06 'Janus' Class Traversal Drive
    • Having two redundant 'Janus' crystals allows the Mors Mon to perform instant feats transportation across the galaxy. This makes the ship capable of projecting Sith Power across the Galaxy - raiding both hyperlanes, planets, capitals, and anything else it chooses. So long as the user knows the exact location of their transportation, they can send the Mors Mon and its fleet anywhere it chooses.
  • Penumbra & The Meditation Chamber
    • Given the death of the Endless Hunger, Penumbra was relocated and repurposed into the 'Mors Mon'. It is the most advanced force based weapon in the galaxy, and one of the first of its kind - a giant pillar capable of focusing the strength of the Sith aboard to fire a blast of Force Destruction that can rip apart ships. While it is the primary and easiest form of channeling the Force as a weapon, there is also a meditation sphere that allows the Mors Mon to serve in a variety of positions - bordering on the utilization as a superweapon in the situation it is required.
  • Dark Steel Hull
    • Being the first of its kind, the Mors Mons has a dangerous powerful material known as Dark Steel coating its entire surface. While it serves as a means to make it extremely resilient to almost all attacks, its primary strength is its protection from large scale uses of Force Light - but makes it impossible for vessel to hide itself from Force Users. Additionally, since it is infused with the suffering of thousands of force users - the Ship fundamentally ruins a light sider's ability to utilize the Force while near the ship - worse aboard it, and empowers the Sith greatly while near it.
  • Sith Academy
    • With such a massive population, and the near constant service time, force sensitives are collected from conquered planets and processed as soon as the ship comes into orbit - often even during the invasions and subjugations themselves. An entire 'district' of the ship is dedicated to these teachings as a result. A full academy with all the best amenities, libraries, alchemic work stations, and luxury dorms befitting divine beings. There is little that it lacks, but due to its exclusivity the restrictions are great - leading to almost no non force users allowed within the area without special clearance.
STRENGTHS
  • Supremacy
    • Setting a record for the largest ship in the galaxy, it serve as the flagship of the Sith Order - a full scale weapon for the purpose of destroying interstellar empires. With enough carrying capacity to refit and carry multiple full size battlecruisers, the ship is a mobile siege fleet of few equal. It can siege entire sectors with its ability - a one ship navy.
  • Tactical Dominance
    • With the leadership of an X-02, the Mors Mon is able to monitor and maneuver an entire battlefield with a variety of cutting edge technology. From the X-03, X-04, and X-05, the Mors Mon can breach stealth, provide sensor dampening storms, and jump avenues for every ship in the fleet on the fly. All the while, it can make tactical decisions faster and better than most human naval commanders - on par with Force enhanced tacticians.
  • Darkness Incarnate
    • Having a full cadre of Sith onboard, and serving as the flagship of the Sith Lord Darth Empyrean - the ship's designers understood that the weakness of giant technologic firearms when compared to the infinite strength of the Force. For this reason, the ship has both a meditation chamber, and a focusing weapon capable of outperforming traditional proton beam cannons and the like of similar size. Penumbra, a massive force lodestone, is capable of firing capital class force destruction waves as other ships; while the meditation sphere allows for a great magnitude of force powers to be amplified greatly.
WEAKNESSES
  • The Bigger They Are...
    • As any mistake in galactic history, the culmination of a fleet in a single ship is extremely dangerous. The ship's massive size makes it dangerously suseptible to sabotage or decisive strikes. With its destruction, the fleet would fall apart - the entire logistical structure of not only the fleet, but the entire Sith naval logistical structure would be upended and destroyed, crippling the power projection of an entire nation in a split second.
  • Force Negation
    • Due to the main weapon of the ship being a force based capital weapon, if it is subjected to force negation abilities it will become unusuable. This can range from heavy force light, to ysalamiri missiles targetting the opening of the weapon. This too applies to the X-02 AI system, as force negation or overwhelming its kyber core will send the fleet into dissaray due to its reliance on the AI.
  • Storm Caller
    • While active, the Storm Generators will stop internal sensor systems from getting a full understanding of the system surrounding it. Similar to double blind stealth systems without the full negation, the ship can only maintain its 'secrecy' for so long before it is dangerous to maintain.
DESCRIPTION

The Mors Mon found its genesis long before the actual manufacturing of the ship. Originally designed by Darth Empyrean's own hand when he went under the alias of Maliphant - it was optimized for years by the X-02 AI known as 'Cybele', Maliphants personal computerized assistant. Further, when he was brought under the leadership of the Sith Eternal and the Worm Emperor, he used their greater knowledge to expand both the technologic details and further implement force based designs lost to the galactic zeitgeist.
As the Sepulchral gave Darth Empyrean further knowledge of force based technology, as once the Rakata and others utilized, he began to redesign many of the systems involved. Spending years to change the design, collecting old artifacts, and designing new systems specifically for his own flagship - the Mors Mon was created in its design to serve as a new, dangerous weapon to grow the Sith Order into the galactic super power it required to be.
Utilizing his influence over Jutrand, and the Sith Order by proxy, Darth Empyrean began the process of creating the Mors Mon Dreadnought through various shell companies and the like. This secrecy was highly important, as the necessity of the Mors Mon grew expontentially. Notably, the main pressure moving the project forward became the Malsheem and Darth Carnifex's own influence over the Sith Order through economic superiority. The Mors Mon became this necessary counter, having its production sped up by diverting trade and resources away from the capital of Jutrand.
While Jutrand began to suffer for the influence exerted upon it, the Sith Order's war machine began to grow exponentially. The Mors Mon was forged in secret away from the prying eyes of the Triumvirate - forming itself as the flagship of the Eternalist fleet, and a symbol of Sith strength. More than that, even in its construction it became a powerful reminder of Darth Empyrean's influence - at the cost of his personal wealth, influence, and channels throughout the galaxy.
The greatest cost to Darth Empyrean came in the form of his numerous shell companies collapsing under the strain of the Dreadnought's production - and the incessant turmoil he left his capital world in to ensure he was not surpassed by the other Triumvir. This has led to an unstable foundation to build his Empire off of, but as his strength in military grows, he begins to expand his control over new planets, new sectors, and new regions of the galaxy.
With the Mors Mon being finished in 876 ABY, the Dark Crusade began. The Eternalists began to use their new found military strength to power through the weak defensive measures various planets have in place. Individual worlds stand little chance against the powerful strength of the Mors Mon - and its various advanced systems allow it to form one of the strongest super star destroyers in the galaxy. As of its construction, the Mors Mon is the single largest, most advanced ship in the galaxy - having no single equal in its strength or power.

This is a hugely detailed and thought-out submission. You really are looking at a terror of the star ways here. There are just a few issues I've listed below for us to work through before we can move on to approval.

Permissions

While I see you've included the IGBC as permissions however they're not included as a manufacturer, nor does the web page expressly state that companies can use one another's submissions. As such I'll need you to get permission from the writer of Arlen Lussk for the following submissions:

You will also need to provide permissions for the following Blith-tech submission:
- DC-2A

Size

This submission is just over 121km wide. this is almost the same size as the Deathstar, a creation that took the resources of a united empire to produce, a state that hasn't existed for centuries. I feel that this is too big and I would like you to scale the size of the SSD down by 50% to a 60km wide ship.

Environmental Systems

I just wanted to say I love the little touch of the various scents.

X-06 'Janus' Class Traversal Drive - This links to the pre-factory which is not acceptable in a submission for approval. Please link this to the submission which is currently in the factory.

All the submissions you linked are Open Market, actually. The DC-2A i also own, but can't for the life of me remember where the screenshot of it is. As the writer is no longer on the site, and I honestly can't be bothered to have that same conversation going forward, I'll just remove it lmao.
My argument against downsizing is that for thousand of years the galaxy didn't really innovate in technology at all, but in the last few hundred years it has expanded significantly in what it can produce at what rates. The IC rationale being very similar to how Exegol managed to produce thousands of 2km star destroyers from only a single world - this was created by multiple hidden planets, cults, and a most of Empyrean's wealth to create. I'd prefer to keep it the same, if at all possible.
Fixed the last link.

Ahh, I missed the open market status of the subs. Thank you for catching that for me.

In regard to the size of the ship. I'm not opposed to a ship being larger than normal at all, it does make sense for Maliphant, who has been developing his resources and wealth for some time to be able to manage a scheme like the one that you have described. However, I feel that the current length is too large to be reasonable. Is there a reason you need the ship to be this large, or is it just the intimidation factor?

Cool factor, mostly.

Another point, the First Order was a small state in around the same area in canon. Not only did they create the Supremacy, a massive fleet of updated ships, but they created a planet sized version of the Death Staff - all within 20 years. I'd argue on top that since SO hasn't made a 'Star Killer Base', our resources could be used to create a supremacy instead. Simply given how that weird canon economics works.

The site of a massive ship jumping into your system is going to be kinda terrifying, no lie.

Ok, I'm going to approve this with the normal addendum. If it's abused or misused then I'll pull it for re-review.

Enjoy the terrifying death ship!
