Modify Sub or New Sub?

I'm planning on upgrading this armor system with Laminanium and beefing out its description. However, I do plan on remodeling the aesthetics and renaming the whole thing. I'm wanting to keep most of the original components and restricted material, but I figure it's safer to just modify the whole thing and rename it.

• Does this upgrade need a new sub? It'll be a Limited production item.
• Will it require a development thread? If so, how long?

Looking for a Factory Judge to answer these.

That armor already possesses Phrik. You may not have two restricted materials in the same submission, I am almost certain.

Also, if it's a big modification, it would need a new sub, yes.

I'm fairly certain it would require a new submission, though I'm sure asking for a modification wouldn't hurt.

I can't recall if it is one restricted material per submission or one lightsaber resistant per off the top of my head, but in either case it would be safer to say that you wouldn't if you plan to use Laminanium.

If it's any recourse, I've always been told not to have two lightsaber resistant materials in one submission; I can recall at least one that has two limited or restricted materials. I can't say for certain if that's official or not though, so don't take my word alone for it.

In any event, you could make a new submission, and link the old one in. There was a part added to templates a while back for just that.
