- Lightsaber-Spear powered by The Heart of Lysandra, a Baas' Wisdom crystal that's had the already considerable freezing damage boosted by forbidden Atrisian Ice Magic, making its wielder immune to cold based damage, as well as quelling sources of heat just by being in the very vicinity. Heat damage does almost no damage at all. User becomes highly resistant to piercing damage such as slug throwers, darts, and arrows, and the colder it becomes, the faster Laertia gets. Greatly increases chance of frost bite on enemies if successful in hitting them, and the blade slowly freezes whatever surface it touches.

Heart of Ice: The Heart of Lysandra was initially just a Baas' Wisdom crystal that imparted freezing damage. After it was enhanced by the strange Ice Magics of Atrisia, Prolonged contact of this blade can freeze any surface in a sheet of ice. If an enemy is stabbed fatally, or if the blade is left in their body long enough, they will freeze completely solid (Player Consent required) . The Heart renders its user immune to cold damage and most heat damage. In fact, the colder it is the faster Laertia becomes. It also renders her heavily resistant to solid projectile piercing damage. Lastly, it cannot be held by Dark Adepts lest they freeze solid.
Long Reach: The spear allows one to keep their distance at melee range, frustrating opponents used to more traditional lightsaber combatants. The spear also contains a continuous cryo laser hidden at the other end with a lethal power output rivaling that of a blaster cannon, capable of freezing whole chunks of material and tissue in a ten second burst. Its highly accurate and posseses the range of an average blaster rifle
Magical Sharpness: The magical cold generated by the heart is capable of severely damaging alchemized weapons in just a few blows.
Cold Storage: The shaft is telescopic, and will retract to a third of its length. However, neither weapon mode can be used in this state.

DESCRIPTION
A weapon composed of two different origins, Momentary Discomfort is the combination of the Lightsaber-Yari of Morris Crownwraithe, Laertia's Father, and the Lightsaber crystal of Lysandra Crownwraithe, Laertia's Mother.
The Spear Shaft and accompanying mechanisms were a gift from Morris's Jedi Master, Moya De Lifte, who was also the first person he turned to for protection from Darth Phyre.
The Heart of Lysandra was actually once just an ordinary Baas' Wisdom Crystal. However, after its recent empowerment at the magics of an ancient shrine in Atrisia's mountains, it has become something much more powerful.
Ironically in turning to Moya De Lifte to help protect his wife and unborn child, Morris ended up sowing the seeds to his and his wife's later violent murder and dismemberment at the hands of Darth Phyre, as Moya (Secretly Darth Themis) had determined that the only way to protect Laertia from being captured by the cult was to sacrifice her parents to buy enough time to enchant the dynamic class freighter the infant Laertia was contained in to simulate a slow hyperdrive jump hundreds of years into the future when the Gulag Plague had long since become a bad memory. It is unknown what means Moya used to insure Laertia's survival from infancy to the time she was old enough to walk and talk.
The enchanted crystal has imparted immense resistance to cold and heat, piercing damage, makes Laertia faster the colder it is, and cannot be held by Dark Adepts. It has even interacted unusually with the installed laser weapon at the opposite end, causing it to produce a freezing laser beam. Laertia ironically received these items from The Amalgam, in the Dark Side Witch's twisted attempt to show her so-called 'Love' for her so-called 'Daughter'.
The Weapon gets its name from a phrase inscribed into the shaft:
"Remember, there may be some momentary discomfort."
