The OOC One
A sewing machine clicked, a small rodian woman sat still, hands guiding the fabric. It wasn't slavery, she was being paid for her services. She sat, the room next door to her being decorated as she worked, Aurora Connections Limited, the store front on Courscant coming along. The final painting was underway and the final few roof tiles were being bolted down to the roof itself. Aurora Connections Limited, the brain child of Ember Jay Allison Amber Riley, a company dedicated to keeping soldiers safe on both sides of the One Sith and Republic war was in the process of designing the newest line of armor. Civilians could also get hold, if they had the money. The Aurora Shadow Armor was designed as lightweight armor to be made with flexsteel shoulder plates and armorweave overlay. Duraplast was also to be added onto the armor, covering the chest. The gloves were designed as an optional extra, duraplast gloves offered hand protection but limited hand and wrist movement. Spidersilk Elastex formed the mesh below the armor, offering resistance to blasters and vibroblades. Spidersilk Elastex was a material that Aurora was going to be using quite a bit.
The sewing machine clicked, the rodian woman taking her fabric from the machine. She'd been sewing Spidersilk Elastex together, forming a seam that she could work with later. Over in the metal working areas, a group of correllian men were working, beating duraplast and flexsteel into shape. The armor itself was to be mass produced in the Courscant store, being shipped out to the edge of One Sith space before being carried across to Republic Space.
The backroom of each store was a factory, it was the nicest way of putting it. Men and woman working day in and day out to mass produce items for the boss, Ember Jay Allison Amber Riley. Yet, they had good jobs. They were paid fairly, they only worked a three day week. Other staff would take over, and there would be rotations. Lunch period was two hours long plus Ember took her staff out drinking every so often. She was a cool boss, laid back.
The boss opened the door, took a seat at a sewing machine.
Set to work.
