Being one of the only Mon Cal writers on the board, and Tesh being in charge of the Mon Cal defense fleet as well as the shipyards (official when I can get to wifi), I think it is time to put Mon Cal in the republic and proceed to conquer the planets between. I can help with that ofc

I plan on touching the subject of dominions once the event is over with, however for now I will say that with the Netherworld event closing in just a few days we will be evaluating the Republic's sphere of influence as it stands at the conclusion of the event. We are focusing on a few key areas that are critical to us right now, and will announce plans to include future dominions shortly after.

Many people have expressed interest of various planets to take control of, however we have finite resources, a lot of people are burned out from the rapid dominions we just did throughout the entire month of may, and it is showing with our final two dominions taking over 10 days to get done. We are taking into account everyone's opinions, and looking closely at the map to determine where we will continue our expansion.

A few additional things for us to consider are our allies, enemies, and neutral factions and their intent.

Well for starters I can say the RR is in no position to be involved in any space battles with Tesh gone.

As for the interest and the current slow-ish posting, I can lay the necessary groundwork for stuff while I wait for people to recharge, so to say

I don't know why you feel the urge to attack me on another faction's board. Seriously, keep it to yourself.

Tesh was the only fleeter on the RR, so you guys are kinda screwed unless you find a fleeter. Also Tesh has a lot of your ships. Like most of them. It is perfectly plausible IC wise that Tesh took the entire fleet when he left

Yeah no, you never did that IC so no you did not. Unless you took ships that were ICly yours then sure. But no you have not taken our ships because you haven't done it IC and there are no threads that say you have. You can have the Dak I really don't care, but any other ship I will ask for threads where the ENTIRE red raven fleet up and decided to follow a person who was a member for a very short time. And I'm not attacking you, I just don't take kindly to you saying the ravens are defenseless without you, you harassed and offended our members multiple times, so you coming to the republic so you can try and plot against us because you got banned is what's the matter and what I don't appreciate

Sorry, but speaking as the other half of Red Raven leadership, if you actually read the site rules a single character is not allowed to take a factions fleet when they leave without the factions permission.

I would be fine with that, just would not like the Republic to think this is a legitimate thing the RR have approved and thread as such and then have us need to get the threads dealt with by RPJs, I know you folks are fair and such so, trying to save heartache caused by one unhappy writer

My bad for assuming that the primary admiral would control most of the fleet.

Back to strategic things: it would be a good idea to try to cut off any sort of expansion into the kessel sector and tion cluster, so having Mon Cal as a keystone would be great

I appreciate the initiative, though much of this is discussed amongst the OOC leadership and direction is given to the IC leaders on that end. Though I can make suggestions as to strategic value, the decision is ultimately up to them.

I'm just laying out a reasonable long term strategy. All of the other stuff is up to you guys. Not exactly used to the way you guys conduct business but I grasp it okay.

Just for clarification, I started discussing with Tesh just to discuss a basic strategy to get the point of incorporating Mon Calamari into the Republic, not to set anything in stone.

If we are going to do it, it's going to require a fair amount of work and planning, and I'm all right with that. But it's not anything that's going to easily happen soon and without consideration to other realities for our Republic.
