STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Skin Of The Teeth: Mondo is known to be incredibly lucky. This might have to do with Force sensitivity, or perhaps it’s just his unwavering luck.
Ahoy, Me Hearties!: He has a crew filled to the brim with scum and villainy at his beck and call.
Bring a Spring Upon ‘er: He is an incredibly skilled pilot and spacer, making him difficult to catch.
Shiver Me Timbers!: Mondo is unpredictable, opportunistic, and self-centered. This has been both boon and bane to the man, keeping him alive, but also getting him into hot water.
No Honor Among Thieves: His crew is just as opportunistic, and likely to betray Mondo if paid enough.
Why’s The Rum Gone?: He just might drink a tad bit too much.
APPEARANCE:
Mondo is a tall, lanky Weequay, who carries himself with a sloppy confidence. He usually wears practical clothes, although can often be seen wearing a brown duster, as well as a pair of goggles. He keeps his pistols in shoulder holsters under his duster, his cutlass at his side, and his vibroknife in his boot.
PERSONALITY:
Scoundrel to most, coward to some, and gentleman thief to few, Mondo is a man of many talents (or at least, he would really, really like you to believe that). He is a talkative man, and is always waiting to regale people with tales of his supposed exploits. He is also highly unpredictable, and, at times, very difficult to work with. He is far from trustworthy, as his top priority is taking care of himself (and his crew too… sometimes… maybe). He is a greedy man, always looking to find his next score. Love him or hate him though, it is difficult to dislike Mondo. He may be a rascal, but he’s a lovable rascal. Just don’t come in between him and his score.
BIOGRAPHY:
What do you mean, you haven’t heard of me?! I am the great Mondo Ohnaka! I’ll have you know that my great great great great… uh how many greats was that? An incomprehensible amount of greats! He was the legendary pirate Hondo! Just like him, I have decided to shed the shackles of monotony in favor of fortune and glory. And make no mistake, I have found both! I am the scourge of the Outer Rim, the Scoundrel of Spice, the one, the only, Mondo! What else is there to know? Oh, you don’t believe me? Well… you clearly don’t get out much!
I spent my youth on Nal Hutta working for the Hutt Cartels. Well, at least, until I got bored. Those greedy Hutts keep so much of your profits! I had to leave if I was going to get rich. I got a crew together, and we may have, well, borrowed a ship from the Hutts… on long-term loan, of course. You don’t really think I’d steal from the Hutts, do you? What kind of man do you think I am?! At any rate, I spend most of my time in space, although I may also have a safe house on Lok. I can neither confirm nor deny its existence, of course.
If you have loot to be plundered, spice to be smuggled, or dirty deeds done dirt cheap (which of course, means not very cheap at all), then look no further than Mondo Ohnaka! My crew and I will take almost any job you have! Well, as long as it pays well, and not too dangerous (we aren’t stupid, after all).
SHIP:
The El Dorado: a Corona-Class armed frigate, and the fastest ship in the galaxy! It made the Kessel Run in nine, no, eight parsecs!
