- Hybrid Battleship-Carrier: The Sedriss was outfitted with enough weaponry to go toe-to-toe with other conventional battlecruisers, and retained enough hangar space to launch a swarm of Sith starfighters and ferry enough troops and vehicles to launch a planetary invasion by itself.
- Low Maneuverability: Due to the ship's large meandering size, the Sedriss is not particularly maneuverable even though it can achieve average velocity through space.
Ten years before the establishment of the New Sith Empire, the Sith Lords Darth Vornskr and Darth Prazutis put into place a massive armament program. During their exploration of the Unknown Regions, Vornskr came across a migrant race of insectoid aliens that referred to themselves as the Attendants, masters of hyperspace travel, and keepers of the Unknown Region's secrets. With their aid, the two Sith Lords discovered many hidden pockets of untraversed space above the galactic disk. They ordered their most loyal servants to move several of the Zambrano family's hidden projects, such as a pair of massive dreadnoughts and an even larger worldcraft, into the space above the galactic disk.
The worldcraft, which was named Malsheem, became the epicenter for starship construction under the watchful gaze of the Dark Lord's Voice. Vornskr was attempting to secretly bolster his family's own private military force by constructing large battlecruisers out from under the eye of the Dark Lord of the One Sith and his many wretched cronies with the intent to one day overthrow the Dark Lord and take his place. Before Vornskr could enact his treason, the Dark Lord was deposed in a vicious civil war that tore apart the fabric of the One Sith. Deciding to keep his Sith Eternal a secret, Vornskr cast off his name and rechristened himself as Darth Carnifex and began to seek the establishment of a new public Sith Empire for which to wage war against the Light Side of the Force.
Construction of the Eternal's fleet continued in secret, with the main warship of the fleet a massive battlecruiser named the Sedriss after the Sith word for a nightmare. The Sedriss featured hull structural bracing in its midsection, as well as armored hull plating and a truss to support the bow's upper hull, with the primary lateral launch bays being recessed between the larger ventral and dorsal hulls. Also hidden within was a powerful siege cannon based on the design of the Sith Empire's Despoiler-type Siege Cannon, powered by kyber crystals and capable of firing a devastating energy pulse along a targeting tracer beam to cause a powerful detonation upon impact.
The Sedriss was typically crewed by three-thousand Dzizroqadkut naval officers, alongside a mixture of organic Tsudakyr and inorganic droid brains, and patrolled by fifteen-thousand Dzizroqadkut troopers of various classes and specializations. It could carry twenty-four squadrons of Siqsa-class Starfighters, for a total of two-hundred-and-eighty-eight fighter craft, and four squadrons of Vindican-class Troop Transports, for a total of ninety-six transports.
